Shawn Pasley's Taurus SHO

This is my 1992 SHO as I first bought it.This is my second one,my first being an 89 but because of problems such as broken catalitic converters and other nearly equal catastrophic happenings, I traded it in on this one. There is a lot to be learned about this car on the net, pay attention!

-FPS Automotive solid subframe bushings(aluminum)(see below)
-subframe connectors
-tubular aluminum rear control arms(adjustable)
-Sho Shop competition clutch
-BF Goodrich Comp T/A ZR 235/45/17 "z" speed rated tires and TSW 17x8 VX-1 Wheels.

SOME EXPERIENCES I HAVE HAD(Please e-mail me with your questions and comments)

I have had both the Eibach lowering springs and the Sho Shop linear rate springs. Eibach: -looks nice in front, but didn't lower the back at all(at least didn't seem like it) -handled well, nice and stiff but I didn't like the variable rate spring design.in my opinion the variable rate leads to an unpredictable feel at the limit. -good quality spring but not what I was looking for.

Sho Shop: -lowers the car 2" in front 1" in back -handles VERY well, extremely flat in the corners, but they have a lower spring rate than the Eibachs and are somewhat softer. -Very predictable but I wished the rates were a little higher.Definately my choice.

I am going to put together a coilover kit for my car for ultamite handling.

Here are pictures of my car with the Eibach's and the 50 series BF Goodrich tires.
