questions are more difficult this time. If you make it to the end, this
also means you gain access to more never-before-seen videos. Among the
video clip prizes this round is footage from the 1996 Jewelstock
performance of the song, "Amen." Also a new round of Bites
And Baubles for your enjoyment. To participate in these new games, log on
to our "Activities" page at www.jeweljk.com.

27 March 2001- The official Jewel website has unveiled a brand new look
Edited from original source: JeweLink: March 27, 2001
Today is the unveiling of a brand new look at Jewel's official website at
www.jeweljk.com. Along with these changes comes some all-new interactive
activities, which is a fancy way of saying games, games, games!
That's right, you'll find a new ACTIVITIES page in our navigation menu.
Here you'll find the first launch of our interactive games all about
Jewel. For the page's premiere, we're offering two unique game
experiences. The first is called "Bites & Baubles," which can best be
described with the question: "How fast can you name that Jewel tune?" The
game is loaded with sound bites from Jewel songs. Your job is to figure
out which songs they are without having to ask for more clues.
Then pop into the second game and test your knowledge for some straight-up
Jewel trivia. Called "Jewelology," this game rewards those who've made
being a Jewel fan a science. There are three levels of questions, each one
harder than the last. You're bound to learn a few facts each time you play
and we dare you to make it all the way to the end.
So what if you do make it to the end of our games? Good question! Well,
on top of just feeling pretty good about yourself, there's prizes. Right
now, when you win by completing all three levels, you'll have access to
exclusive live performance video clips, never seen anywhere else! We're
going through the archives, pulling specially selected performances both
old and new. Along with unreleased performance clips from the 1999 Spirit
World Tour and the mini-solo-acoustic tour last year, future prize clips
will also include never-before-seen video footage from Jewel's legendary
1996 concerts at The Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, affectionately
remembered as Jewelstock.
26 March 2001- Jewel shows her support for TY
Jewel was present in Cleveland, Ohio to watch her boyfriend Ty Murray ride. Ty made it to the Western Union Money Round at the PBR Bud Light Cup Cleveland Open. Ty's 92.5 point ride on Claytons Pet in round three pushed him to third position, taking home $12,520.40. The PBR Bud Light Cup Cleveland Open took place March 2-3 and was broadcast on March 25, TNN at 9:00PM EST.
11 March 2001- Jewel's house will be featured on an upcoming episode

habitats. This will be broadcast next Thursday March 22 at 10:00PM EST.
11 March 2001- Last night's episode of "The Sopranos" featured a Jewel concert
The plot featured a
storyline where mobsters robbed the box office at a fictitious Jewel
concert at Rutger's University in New Jersey. Much to their dismay, they
discovered that not only was it a benefit concert, but most of the
students paid for tickets using student activity cards!
08 March 2001- Jewel on Austin City Limits repeats this weekend
While this will likely NOT be airing in ALL locales, www.rockontv.com says the national PBS network lists Jewel's Austin City Limits gig as being on this weekend. (9:00pm Saturday night on the *national* PBS station).
Please keep in mind, MOST areas in the United States have their own separate PBS affiliate with their own television schedules. Many of these DO carry Austin City Limits and many do feature the same episode the national PBS station does any given weekend, but it likely would be on at a different time and even a different day. Of course many PBS stations either do not carry Austin City Limits and many do not feature the same episode the national station does.
The best ways to find out if it is airing in your area this weekend are by checking your local listings. (TV Guide, newspaper etc).
For many PBS stations, you can check online to see their TV schedule, and often it tells you exactly which episode of a show is airing.
Head to www.pbs.org and then click on "Station Finder" at the top right corner of your screen, OR fill in your Zip Code where it asks IF that part shows up on the main pbs.org screen. If not, just click "Station Finder" and fill in your Zip Code on the next screen.
It will then lead you to one or more choices for a PBS station in your area, and the web page that goes along with it. You should be able to find a TV Schedule there for your local station. (Austin City Limits airs on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings in most areas, so be sure to check all three nights)
Again, please keep in mind many stations will NOT be showing this one with Jewel, while many likely will.
