Weclome to Chicago: While The City Sleeps! This is a volunteer effort by fans of the rock band Chicago to create a website allowing people to express their creative side beyond what discussion forums and chats can do. There are discussion forums and chtrooms, of course. You will find there is something for everyone on this site, and all kinds of ways Chicago fans everywhere can participate. And, you do not have to own a computer, have access to the Internet or be able to create websites to join in on the fun. It does help, however.
What is being attempted with this site is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your art skills (drawing, computer generated art, photography, to name a few), your writing ability (poems, essays, and commentary on Chicago, like a newspaper editor would), and your musical and songwriting ability (MIDI sound files, lyrics). These things should be original works or, in the case of the music, taking Chicago songs and doing them in your own way and/or original songs in the style of Chicago. This website will be updated often, so if you have any work to submit, please do so. Just about anything goes on this site, except where covered by site policy.
In addtion,
there will be for the first time a page with links to all Chicago and
Chicago-related websites. In these sites, there is a large body of work that
covers the band's entire history. Whether you love the original band (pictured
here on the left at Carnegie Hall in 1971), or the current band (pictured
at top) there is something for everyone on the Internet, as well as on this
website. Like Chicago has, through this website, you can also express your
creative abilities to the fullest and help tell the story of CHICAGO.
The people you can submit your work to for inclusion in this site is
posted below.

And, finally, here's how to navigate this site. There will be an imagemap
provided at the bottom of each of the infrastructure pages to this site,
to make it easier for you to move around the site. There will also be text
links for those of you whose browsers cannot handle image maps. Once you
get in to visit the various artworks, written works, lyric and musical works,
you may be required to use your browser's back button to return you to where
you were.
Click on these text links if your browser
does not show the above imagemap.
