Nick laid silently on his bed in the tour bus and stared up at the ceiling. He didn't know what to think and he didn't know what to feel. He didn't even know who this girl was and she was tearing him apart. Not on purpose of course since she didn't even know him, but he just wanted to know who she was. Nick knew that the feeling he got when he looked into her eyes at the concert was not just a feeling. It was stronger than that. At that moment Brian walked into the bunkroom, disturbing Nick's thoughts.
"Hey Nick." Brian smiled as he picked up two Nintendo controllers from the floor. "Let's go play some video games. I have a feeling that I'm going to kick your butt."
Nick rolled over on to his side and looked at the wall. "I don't feel like it right now."
Brian stared at his friend. "Wow, you must be sick to not want to play video games. What's up?" Brian set the controllers back on the floor. "Is that girl still on your mind man?"
"I know you want to help me feel better but I just want to think about it alone for a while." Nick still laid facing the wall.
Brian patted him on the back. "Well, you know where I am if you decided you need someone to talk to."
Brian walked out of the bunkroom and noticed AJ running out of the bathroom and sitting down quickly in the booth that they had as a table. Brian gave him a funny look and AJ smiled.
"AJ, are you up to something?" Brian sat across from him and looked him in the eye.
"Of course I'm not up to something." AJ began flipping through a magazine that was on the table. "You're the one that's usually up to something, remember?" AJ pointed to his blue hair. But he was glad that Brian had pulled that trick because the fans loved his blue hair.
Brian laughed. "That hair dye in the shampoo is such an old trick so I just thought I'd bring it back to the 90's for a little while." Brian stood up and walked toward the bathroom. He stopped and looked at Kevin and Howie who hadn't said a word. "You guys would tell me if he's planning a trick on me right?"
Kevin and Howie smiled and replied in unison. "Of course."
Brian nodded his head. "Cool." And went into the bathroom.
When Brian shut the door Kevin, Howie, and AJ erupted into laughter. Brian quickly opened the door up and they all stopped laughing. He looked at them and then shut the door once again. The three guys started to quietly laugh once again.
Brian had been in the shower for awhile and after the water shut off AJ moved over by Howie and Kevin.
"I can't wait until I see the look on his face." AJ laughed. "Or more like his smile."
Suddenly an ear piercing scream came from behind the bathroom door. AJ, Kevin, and Howie burst into uncontrollable laughter and gave each other high fives. Brian threw open the door. At that moment Abby walked to the front of the bus.
"What are you guys laughing at?" She asked. Then she noticed the look on Brian's face. "What's wrong?"
Brian smiled and a line of blue teeth showed. AJ had put blue dye in Brian's toothpaste.
AJ, still laughing, stood up and put his arm around Brian. "See B-rok, now we match." He putted to his hair.
Everyone began to laugh.
Meanwhile, Nick was in the back of the bus crying silent tears knowing that every mile the bus traveled took him one more mile away from the girl of his dreams.
