Brian and AJ were singing "As Long As You Love Me" accapella to warm up for their concert that night. They could hear thousands of screaming fans waiting on the other side of the certain. The sound of the crowds excitement always gave the guys a rush. Brian and AJ finished their warm ups and AJ went over to practice with Kevin for awhile. Brian looked around and saw Abby falling asleep on a step with her head leaned up against the wall. He smiled at how peaceful and beautiful she looked at that moment. He walked over and sat down next to her and pushed a piece of hair aside that had fallen in her face. Abby opened her eyes and smiled at him.
"Hey." She said in a tired voice.
He kissed her lightly on the cheek. "You know, you could have stayed at the hotel and gotten some rest. You didn't have to come here."
"I wanted to come." She placed her hand in his. "I love watching you perform. And besides," she smiled. "I like to hear thousands of girls scream for you and I like the feeling I get when I realize you're all mine." She pressed her lips hard on to his. The kiss deepened and when it was over Brian's mind was spinning.
"Wow" Was all he could say.
She patted his knee. "Now go out there and make me proud of you."
He saluted her. "Yes Ma'am."
Everyone backstage got in a group and put their hands together in the middle of the circle that they had formed.
AJ began to count. "1..2..3.."
"BACKSTREET BOYS!!" Everyone yelled in unison.
They went out on to stage and began to sing "Let's Have a Party" and the crowd was pumped. Abby smiled backstage as Brian made his goofy smiles and gestures to the screaming fans, which then only made them scream more.
Soon the concert was over and the guys were all sweaty and out of breath sitting backstage.
Abby walked in and handed them all fresh bottles of water. "Nick what are you still doing here?"
Nick looked at her skeptically. "What are you talking about? I'm always here."
Abby placed her hands on her hips and fixed her eyes on him. "How soon we forget Mr. Carter."
Brian laughed. "OOOH she's calling you by your last name. You're in trouble now." He took a swig of his water.
"You're supposed to be on your way to pick up my friend at the airport, remember?" Abby said.
Nick swallowed his water in one gulp. "I was just on my way." He lied.
"You are such a liar." Abby and Kevin said together.
"She knows who you are so just go to gate 7, but by now she's probably waiting outside by the curb." Abby glared at him again. "Get that butt moving Nick."
Nick smiled. "I have a nice butt and you know it."
Brian laughed and Abby rolled her eyes.
Nick grabbed his baseball cap and placed it on his head. "I'll be back." He said, impersonating the Terminator.
Nick ran outside and hopped into the limo. It would only take about 10 or 15 minutes before he reached the airport so he wouldn't be that late. He glared out the window and up at the clear night sky. He began to think of the girl that had be haunting his memories for the past couple days. Nick began to wonder what his dream girl was doing at the very moment. Who was she with? What was she doing? Was she reading a magazine? Maybe she was even watching him on a tape she might have had about the Backstreet Boys. Before Nick knew it he was at the airport. He hopped out of the limo and began running for the door.
Suddenly he bumped right into someone. He looked up and his breath caught in his throat. It was her! It was the mystery girl right there before his eyes! He closed his eyes and took a deep breath and opened them again. It wasn't a dream. She was really there.
She smiled at him. "Hi," she said cheerfully. "You're Nick Carter."
The only words that he could say was "Uh huh."
She shook his hand. "Nice to meet you. I'm Abby's friend Sarah."
