Nick just stood there, staring down at Sarah. It was almost to good to be true. What were the chances that Abby's best friend would be the girl Nick had been thinking about and searching for for the past few days?
Nick realized that Sarah had asked a question. "I'm sorry what did you say?" It was the first full sentence that Nick could speak.
"I just have to get my bags and then we can go." She smiled.
Nick's breath caught in his throat at the sight of her beautiful smile. He walked beside her to the luggage department.
"I can't believe I'm standing next to her." Nick thought to himself. He was taking slow deep breathes to stay calm.
Sarah picked up her bags. "Ok, let's go." She was so cheerful.
Nick reached for the bags. "I can take them for you."
But Sarah shook her head. "I'm fine. I can get them on my own."
"Are you sure? Because it's no problem for me to carry them."
She smiled once again. "I'm positive."
They made their way to the limo. They were almost there when I group of girls spotted Nick and came running over to him. He smiled and greatfully gave them his autograph. As they walked away Nick heard them scream with delight. They climbed into the limo. Nick wanted to start a conversation with her but he didn't know what to say.
"So, what's planned for tomorrow?" Sarah asked as she turned to face him.
Nick was glad she asked a question. "Well, me and the guys have a photo shoot downtown in the afternoon and an interview with the local paper on our concert that we performed tonight and then it's off to Cleveland, Ohio."
Sarah's eyes went wide. "Wow, that doesn't give you much time to do anything."
Nick shrugged. "It's tough sometimes but it's worth it to see the fans happy."
Sarah smiled. "That's sweet."
Nick melted at those words. And her smile, to him, seemed to light up the city. He still couldn't believe it.
They arrived back at the hotel and Nick showed Sarah up to the room. When Sarah walked into the room Abby came running to her and threw her arms around her.
"I'm so glad to see you." Abby told her.
Sarah put her bags down and gave Abby a hug back. "You were only gone for two days." She laughed.
Abby introduced Sarah to everyone. Nick pulled Brian into the other room.
"What is it Nick?" Brian asked as Nick shut the door.
"Man, B-rok," Nick began. "Sarah that girl that's on the other side of this door." He hit the door for emphasis. "Is the girl I saw on the street that day."
Brian's eyes opened wide. "You're kidding me."
Nick shook his head and smiled. "It's her Bri. It's really her."
B-Rok poked him in the ribs. "My little Nicky is in love." He said in a high pitched voice.
Nick rolled his eyes. "I think I might be."
"Well go out there and talk to her."
Suddenly everyone heard AJ scream and Nick and Brian went running into the other room.
"B-ROK this is the last straw man." AJ shook his head. And Brian began to laugh.
"What did he do this time?" Howie asked as he looked up from his magazine he was reading.
"He put a bottle of "Nair" in the shower instead of my body wash and now I have silky smooth legs." AJ looked down at his bare, legs that had red blotches on them from the shavin cream.
Brian was on the floor laughing. Everyone else began to laugh hysterically. Kevin ran to get the camera again. He began rolling the tape and focused on AJ's legs.
Man, don't tape me on there like this." AJ smirked. "B, i can't believe you went this far."
Brian wiped the tears of laughter from his eyes. "Believe me Bone. There are plenty more pranks where that came from."
AJ rolled his eyes and went back into the bathroom. Kevin gave Brian a high five.
"That was awesome." Howie laughed.
"D, did you have something to do with this one?" Kevin asked as he stopped recording.
Howie laughed. "Brian told me what he was planning and I had to get in on it this time."
"Well guys, let me in on it next time man." Kevin laughed and they all slapped hands.
Brian turned around and saw Abby and Sarah talking intently over on the other side of the room. He looked around for Nick and saw him watching Sarah's every move.
"Man, my little bro has got it bad." Brian smiled and thought to himself.
