The door bell rang, I quickly ran my fingers through my hair as I ran down the stairs and opened the door. Steve was standing infront of me. He softly whistled much to my surprise.
"Now who's looking HOT"
I grabbed my bag and whacked him on the arm as I stepped out of the house locking it shut behind me. Larissa was in the car waiting impatiently tapping on the steering wheel. She caught sight of me and looked away barely giving me a smile. I glanced at Steve who didn?t seem to notice. Larissa and I weren't that close even though her and Steve had been together for almost a year now.
"Hey" I said as I stepped into the car.
"Hey" she simply replied and started the engine before driving off.
Larissa pulled into the main gates past the security. I held my breath as I noticed how many cars were parked near the entrance.
"Ready girls" Steve said as he stepped out of the car. I stepped out and nervously glanced at him as Larissa took hold of his hand. We began to make our way towards the mansion when a guy cried out.
"Wait."
I turned around and my heart almost stopped beating.
"Um... you dropped this" he said and dangled a bracelet infront of me. I quickly glanced at my wrist to find it bare.
"Oh my gosh... thank you so much" I cried as he placed the bracelet in the middle of my palm and totally forgetting how nervous I was supposed to be feeling.
"Thanks again" I said as I put the bracelet on. He smiled.
"I'm Cortney... Cortney Stanford" I then said and stuck my hand out hoping he would shake it.
"I'm Carter... Nick Carter" he replied and shook my hand. I let out a little laugh much to Steve's amusement.
"And this is Steve and his girlfriend Larissa" I said gesturing to them before they all began shaking hands.
"Oh and this is Brian, Kevin, AJ and Howie" he laughed.
"Already forgotten about us" Brian jeered. Nick shot him a look and Brian grinned.
"So what do you say we head for the party" AJ suggested.
"Good idea" Steve said. I began walking with Steve and Larissa then purposely slowed down a bit so I was walking with the guys towards the mansion.
Once we were inside, the nervousness I had felt before came back and I began to shake a little.
"You cold" Kevin whispered. I looked at him a bit surprised that he had noticed this.
"Ah... no... I'm just a bit nervous" I whispered back. He nodded.
"Hang with us and you'll be fine" he winked. I grinned at him.
