JUSTIFYING THE IMPOSSIBLE 5/24/97
Some people call it a stab in the dark-I call it a chance to die for.
Some people come so close to it all their lives-others would sacrifice themselves for less than that.
A kiss seems minute in a finite world of infinite happiness for sale.
Yet its more than all the riches of the universe, if it comes from the one who matters.
The importance of your touch is never seen as it is,
It only remains to be distorted by the ideals and so-called morals of the devil himself,
Inhabited by the hearts and souls of mankind,
Many ready and willing, others are just sitting, watching, and waiting,
For the one chance that never seems to arrive.
Until you look back only to see that it has already passed you by.
When death becomes a thing that a child no longer fears,
There needs to be a change before the final chance walks on by,
With that little smile, just waiting to get out,
Only needing that little bit of encouragement that never seems to show itself,
Even though its been there for a long, long time.
It doesnt know quite how to show itself,
And so it dies years before its time,
A fallen angel that breathes its last,
Watching its very soul die just out of reach,
Of the one who opens her wings and flies away all to soon.
