Personal Information About The Author Of This Webpage
Hello there, and thanks for taking the time to browse my page, let alone read my personal bio. My name is Anthony Westenkirchner, I'm 19 years old and was born on April 23rd, 1979. I was born in Hampton VA, but have spent most of my life in or around Cleveland OH. I went to high school at where I was a 4-year member of both the Varsity Cross Country and Varsity Track teams. I enjoy reading, listening to most kinds of music (DMB, Counting Crows, The Wallflowers, Fiona Apple, The Offspring, Paula Cole, Abra Moore, Matthew Ryan, Orbit, Sarah McLachlan and just about anything other than rap), skiing, running, writing, and passing out on the beach...(don't ask). Currently I am living in Chicago as a sophomore at
Loyola University-Chicago . Originally I planned to be a biology major with an English minor and pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Recently though I've been reconsidering this and I could possibly become an English major, but I don't really know where that would lead. It's all pretty much up in the air right now anyway. Below you'll find a few links to a couple of the things I've written, hope you like 'em. Mostly I stick to poetry and don't go too far beyond that. I can't believe that anyone actually took the time to read this but for all those who actually do, thanks, it didn't go to waste.And As Promised...Some of the things I've written
-Autumn Falls- -Times Like This- -Just A Little-
-Justifying The Impossible- -Calling Home- -A Work In Progress-
-This Year- -Future Memories- -Post It-
* * * * A SPECIAL NOTE HERE * * * *
Recently, I have become a nationally published poet. The poems "Just A Little", and "Future Memories" (you can read them both above) will be published in upcoming anthologies , which will be released and published by the National Library Of Poetry. The first will be published in April of 1998, and the second in July 1998. This is a pretty big step in my writing 'career' and a milestone in my life, just thought you'd like to know, thanks! By the way, don't be afraid to email me comments and criticism (watch it here) about my work, all positive comments are appreciated, all negative smart-ass remarks will be dealt with in the harshest manner possible (just kidding, please, just read the damn poems)
Thanks for actually taking the time to read this part of my page, now you know a little bit about what makes me tick, or so I hope, anyways this fine print doesn't really say anything so you can stop reading right now. As for the poems on this page, they are all original poems by me and no one else. Copyright 1996 Western Duck Productions & Anthony Westenkirchner (not really but it makes it sound real official).
If you can read this line you don't need glasses.
