Bucky Lasek
Bucky is one of the nicest skaters I have ever met. I have had the honor to meet him on many occasions at the local Encinitas YMCA Skatepark, where he skates on a regular basis when he is not competing or on tour. Every time he is there he is always signing autographs between runs and is always pushing kids to skate better, by doing things like giving the kid his helmet if he drops into vert. He’s just an overall great guy and I couldn’t think of anything bad about him. Bucky is married and has a daughter. This year at the X-Games he got 2nd while Bob Burnquist just hardly edged him out for the win.
