(Brigitte)Where should we start hummmmm.......... (R) Well lets start with the next time you came down. (B) Yes that's a good place. After I got home from the last time I saw Robert. I missed him more it had been 5 months since I saw him last. We talked every night but that wasn't the same so we thought about it and I work and save some money and booked a flight down to see him. (R) Wait it wasn't just like that honey, remembered the really reason you were coming down this time? (B) To be with you? (R) No, but that was part of it. The reason was so we could look for a place to live and see if this is what we wanted. (B) Oh ya, but we didn't do that. Anyways on Feb 2nd 1999 I was on my way to see Robert, I was as nervous as the first time but I was still a little scared. We only had 8 days to be together. (R) We had fun. We went to the Florida State Fair. That was fun. We won a lot of prizes but I later gave them away to the little kids in my neighborhoods. We didn't do as much because we didn't have time. I was working and Brigitte looked for a home. (B) That was hard to look for a home because I don't know the area so some apartments were in not so good neighborhoods. (R) Then before we knew it was time for Brigitte to go home. I drove her to the airport and we said good bye. (B) That was harder then before. I didn't want to go home. But we knew it was just for a short time. Apart once again and miss each other more and more. The hard part about being a part this time was I was going through so hard times at home and need Robert. In April my mom and I left home. We found a new home. Robert was there for me but only by phone and email. (R) that was hard for me to because I knew that she need me and I couldn't be there to hold her and tell her everything was going to be fine, the way she wanted me to but we got through that all of us. (B) Yes we did and you help a lot. Robert and I began to really seriously start looking for an apartment. That wasn't easy because Robert worked and couldn't go look at the apartments, I would find on-line. (R) Then some time in June Brigitte was told that she has diabetes That's hard to deal with because I worry when I'm not home and her blood sugar gets to low but enough about the back to our story. After talking it over one night in August, we decided that it would be best if Brigitte came down and stay for a longer time to see if we really wanted to live with each other and find a place to live. We couldn't take being apart any more. So that night after we talk, the next day I get an email from Brigitte telling me that on Monday she'll be landing in Florida. I was so happy but then I realized I had to clean the house up as she would be here in two days. (B) Ya but I only had two days to pack and get everything together. This trip was for 17 days. the longest trip so far. I couldn't wait to get down to Robert....*sigh* (R) Monday came I went to pick her up. the next 17 days we went looking at many apartments, one was in a very scared place we didn't even get out of the car we just kept driving on by *LOL* Anyways one day as Brigitte was looking in the newspaper she saw an ad that kept catching her eye so we got in the car and went to see the apartment. We were surprise to meet such friendly people. (B) It is nice to meet friendly people. We looked at one apartment and went back to the office. We really liked the place so we put our deposit down and filled out the paper work and now we had to wait to see if we would get in. My flight was to leave in four days so we just spent time together and talked. I didn't want to go but if we got the apartment I would be back in about 3 weeks. So Sep.8 came and I got on the plane again and said good-bye once more to Robert. (R) Time when by we talk every day. Then one day I phoned Brigitte and told her I heard back from the apartment and she should sit down that I have bad news and some good news, which did she want first. (B) I was so scared, I was shaking. I thought great we didn't get our apartment and now we'll never be together. boo hoo.... I told him to give me the good news first so he told me that our new phone number is and I said what is the bad news. Not realizing that we got our apartment. Robert told me that bad news was we had to put a deposit down for the phone number. I started to think and I said why do we have a phone number if we don't have a home, Robert was like "HELLO" we got the apartment silly. I was so happy that after I got off the phone I started to jump around the house and my mom was like what is up with you. The next day I went to the Travel agent and booked a flight for my mom and me. She wanted to meet Robert and be there went I got married.I had there weeks to pack and say good-bye to my life in Canada. I siam good-bye to my dad, he cam over for dinner the night before I was to leave. I said good-bye to my friend Carrie, whom I have known since grade 5, that was hard. But the hardest thing I did was go to my sister grave and say good-bye to her. I was missing her so much because I wanted her to be there for me and I needed someone to talk with......I didn't get a chance to say good-bye to my friend Leslie, that was my stupid fault for believing other people's talk, but hopefully she'll come down here to see me. I didn't say good bye to my brother because he stopped talking to my back in 98 when I first took my trip down to see Robert. Everyone else was easy to say bye too. (R) I was very happy that we were about to become that family we have always talked about. I couldn't wait to see Brigitte again. I was a little nervous to meet her mom but we got a long every time I talked on the phone with her. I was also trying to get a new job, one that had better hours and more money. I had so much to do before Brigitte got here on Oct. 4, 1999. I still had to tell my family I was getting married and moving out. When Brigitte got here, we dropped her mom off at the hotel and we went to look for furniture. We found some nice stuff at Rooms to go and then would deliver it on Oct. 14 which was o.k. I was still sleeping at my dad's and Brigitte was sleeping at the hotel with her mom so it wasn't a big deal to get our bed and furniture. (B) Robert and I went to look at the apartment. It was strange to walk in to the place and realize WOW this in my apartment. The next day we when down to the court house and got our marriage license we had to wait 3 days I think before we could go and get married. I was nervous just getting the license. The next few days were busy. Robert, mom and I shopped for things for our apartment. I was overwhelmed. (R) Me too. One trip to Wal-Mart we had four carts full of things for our apartment, Food, bedding and stuff. Then on the 12th we went to my dad's for dinner. (B) I was scared. Well nervous was more like it. I hadn't met Robert's dad before. Everything went well. The next day was the big day. Wednesday, Oct. 13th, 1999 at 11:30am at the Court house we got married. I was so nervous I was sure I was mass up our vows(which you can read if you like) but I didn't. It was perfect. (R) Ummm honey, it was almost perfect, remember.... (B) No your not going to bring up that aaaaaaaaaa.... (R)hee hee hee yes I am. See Brigitte was so nervous that she put my ring on the wrong hand hee hee hee (B) I'll get you for that. (R) The next day, we took her mom to the airport and said good-bye. (B) That was hard to say good-bye to her. She's my best friend. *sniff* (R) Brigitte and I have been together ever since we got married. We ever went on our first trip together. We went to see my sister in Arizona for thanksgiving. We had fun. We went to the Grand Canyon one day and stayed over in Flagstaff. For some reason the night we stayed in Flagstaff we couldn't stop laughing when we were in our hotel room. To this day we don't know why. We just laughed for a good hour. We went to another town I forget the name about it was nice too. (B) I was nervous on the trip to meet his sister but it went great. His sister is very nice. R) So as of right now we are happily married in our nice apartment and our just filling out all the INS paper. I think that's it for now right honey..... (B) nope that's not it honey you forgot to tell them that you got a new job back in Oct. and that we got our furniture and that we hate Rooms to go because it took them two months to deliver our entertainment unit and 5 delivery dates.
