Our Wedding Vows
Welcome, we are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the joining of this man and this woman in matrimony.
Robert and Brigitte have expressed their desire to become united as husband and wife and pledge themselves to each other. Please join hands.
Robert, do you take this woman to be your wedded wife, to life together in matrimony? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her in sickness and in health in sorrow and in joy and forsaking all others, keep faith with her, so long as you both shall live?
I do
Brigitte, do you take this man to be your wedded husband, to life together in matrimony? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him in sickness and in health in sorrow and in joy and forsaking all others, keep faith with him, so long as you both shall live?
I do
Robert, Place the ring on her finger and repeat after me:
Brigitte today I take you to be my wife and I promise to love and honor you all my life, and in token and pledge of the vows between us made. With this ring I thee wed.
Brigitte, Place the ring on her finger and repeat after me:
Robert today I take you to be my husband and I promise to love and honor you all my life, and in token and pledge of the vows between us made. With this ring I thee wed.
In as much as Robert and Brigitte have this day consented together in wedlock and have given and pledged their faith to each other in the presence of this company, by virture of the authority vested in me under the laws of the state of Florida, I now pronounce you husband and wife.
Congratulations. You may kiss the bride.
