It all started in about 1995, Inspired by tracks i heard on radio and just by following the path from Thunder Dome hard core which i listened to before, i bought a Trance CD. I got the real kick after being at my first rave party, that DJ showed me what music and dancing is really about and a few days after that i bought it, "The Colors Of Shiva, psychedelic T.I.P Trip part 2" This is one of my best CD's and i mean it, its really good!
One day i was at my friends place and he had just bought "The Colors Of Shiva, psychedelic T.I.P Trip part 1".  We were just doing nothing, sitting and talking in his living room with the new CD rolling in the background when suddenly both us froze. Track 6 had been going on for 6.39 minutes...
Those of you that have Colors Of Shiva yellow compilation knows that this is Hallucinogen - Shamanix.  We just looked at each other, astonished by the music, licking our ears. Then after another minute (at 7.31) we just went crazy. It was like a hammer fell on my head - Hallucinogen is THE KING!!!
To this day Shamanix is my favorite tune and i still get all exited (sometimes getting tears in my eyes) when i listen to this track! If there is any god, but i doubt there is, he sure didn't need to help Simon doing this track. Simon Posford is a fucking genius! My friend, having a little more dough than me emidiantly ran down to the store and bought simons all new "TWISTED" album.
My first CD from Hallucinogen was his second "The Lone Deranger" This too is an awesomely good CD but i like "TWISTED" more. Anyway I got to hear tracks like: Horror Gram, Gamma Goblins part 2 and of course Jiggle Of The Sphinx and i loved 'em all!
it took me almost half a year to get my hands on Twisted but im glad i did. I'm even thinking of buying the re-release =)
Back to my Colors of Shiva CD, for there i heard the Shamanix RMX, gamma goblins and Shootsayer (with Hallucinogen of course) and these tracks are quite unique! Other good once on this compilation is: Doof - star above pavaratti and The Antidote - sunrise.

Just recently i was at the Arvika Festival here in Sweden. I traveled all the way and paid all that money just for one sake - Simon Posford!
I was there, just a few meters away from the Hallucinogenius himself, dancing to his music, live!!!
That was the best time in my life!!! Nothing beats it! It was like I was reborn (again)
Until this day, thoughts about seeing Simon again pass through my mind several times a day.
And I cant wait for his next album. The "Are you Shpongled?" album differs a lot from the two previous and i must say i like it less.
I hope for Simon to release something like "Twisted part2" and i don't mean calling the album that. I mean doing more tracks like those on Twisted.

Psychedelic trance caught me and now have a tight grip on me, I live for the music, of the music and with the music.
It shapes my life style, it changed the way i dressed and how i talk, what i do, what i think and how i dance.
It changed the way I look at people and what I think of people.
Psychedelic trance is exactly what you want it to be, whatever that might be. The music is there when you need it, whatever situation or mood you're in.
Whenever you're feeling down, the music will cheer you up but if you don't need being cheered up but you need some compassion, it can help you with that too.
When you're feeling tired the music can relax you or energize you.
When you're feeling happy and loaded up, the music just takes control of your body, shaping it like some strange alien sound.
The music flows through your body making it move with the rhythm. Its a language only music and body understands.
The conscienceness and the ears work together to get the music into your mind, but they don't know the language.
The mind lets the music flow through every bone and muscle in your body. When this happens, hopefully you'll be dancing =)
