Hi, we're Erm...
Thankyou!

   This was my band at college. After two weeks together, we had our first gig on Jan 26 1999 suporting Blue Loco and The Teapot Groovers. We played under the rather awful name of 'The Honey Monsters'. We were quite nervous, we had only had about three or four rehearsals. And to make things worse, Paul couldn't make the gig, so Mark Flatters had to fill in on Bass. Despite having to teach Mark all our songs on the day of the gig, we played great and just blew the other two bands off the stage! Many people told us we were the best band out of the three. A fact which we didn't deny.
   Our second gig came on the 8th of March supporting Moonjuice, The Waltons and Easy Tiger. This one didn't go quite as well and we were disappointed at how badly we played. For this gig we had changed our name to the almost worse name of Er...! Anyway, such things must be put behind us and look forward to our next gig.
   This came on Wednesday 19th May 1999, as our first two gigs this took place at Fat Pauly's in Norwich. Again a slight change in name from Er...! to Erm... Not much of an improvement, but we did play much better and to put it mildly, we were fantastic. By the end of our set the crowd were screaming and calling for more. What a feeling!
   The beginning of a new year at college spelt the end for Erm. We split up and were alocated new bands. This new band sees me team up with:
  • Vocals - Nikki Wilcockson
  • Guitar - Martin Harley
  • Guitar - Ben McDonnell
  • Bass - Jon Rudd
  • Drums - Peter Wright
   Nikki, Jon and Ben are members of Dive.
