"Brian Littrell Healthy Heart Club For Kids"
Thank You from Brandon about the Breakfast with Brian in New York City
Source: Item from the Healthy Heart Club News File.
As you may have heard, the "Breakfast with Brian" event in New York was a tremendous success.
The event profited almost $20,000 for the Brian Littrell Healthy Heart Club for Kids and gave Brian
a chance to meet and have breakfast with a few of his fans. What you may not have heard is the
amount of support Brian and the Healthy Heart Club received from several key individuals, groups,
and businesses that ensured the success of the event. As a way of saying "thank you," I would like
to recognize these individuals, groups, and businesses for their contributions.
First on the list is Fan Friends for BSB. Janet Connell, president of Fan Friends for BSB, and the
other members of the organization were a tremendous help in organizing and planning the
breakfast event. In fact, it was the members of Fan Friends for BSB who envisioned the Breakfast
with Brian event.
My next thank you goes out to GAP, Inc. of New York and their incredible staff who provided
Brians clothing for the event. If you attended the event and thought that Brian was styling and
profiling then you should probably head down to your local GAP clothing store
Snapsnapwas all I heard at one point during the event. Im referring, of course, to the flurry of
pictures that were being taken of Brian and his family at the meet-n-greet. Everyone who attended
the event was given a 27 exposure Kodak 35 mm disposable camera. For a great discount on 90
cameras and the donation of ten free cameras, the Brain Littrell Healthy Heart Club for Kids would
like to thank Target of Lexington, KY. The staff of Target was generous and helpful when it came
time to pick out a disposable camera for the event.
When Mrs. Jackie Littrell was thinking of door prizes for the Breakfast with Brian event, Baskets
Galore immediately popped into her head. Baskets Galore provided us with four enormous
baskets filled with Kentucky themed items. Trust me, these baskets were absolutely gorgeous
and arrived at the event in perfect condition. Although our baskets were filled with Kentucky themed
items (an obvious choice for us), Baskets Galore will fill any size basket with anything your heart
desires. If you need a unique gift that speaks from the heart, give Baskets Galore a call.
I would be crazy if I didnt thank the ESPN Zone in New York City for their hospitality and help with
organizing the event. Jessica Rothstein, ESPN Zone Sales Manager, and the entire staff of the
ESPN Zone was nothing short of remarkable. Our every whim was catered to and their service was
tireless as they greeted and cared for everyone who attended the event. I will never forget the
Healthy Heart Clubs trip to New York, due in large part to the wonderful people and service of the
ESPN Zone.
Last but not least, I have to give a huge thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Littrell, Heather Taylor,
Sarah Edgington, Kara Fitzgerald, Liz Sword, Pat Campbell and of course Brian. These individuals
went above and beyond the call of duty to help me prepare and deliver a very fun and successful
charity event. Without these people, the Breakfast with Brian event would not have been possible.
Once again, thank you, and thank you for helping raise funds and awareness to combat the
devastating results heart disease and heart-related problems have on children.
