Sadly, travelling so much means the boys don't get to spend a lot of time with their families. "I sent my mum some flowers the other day - just for being my mum, realy," says Bri. And his gratitude didn't stop there - he wrote the track Perfect Fan in her honour.

Brian would love a dog, but reckons it wouldn't be fair 'cos the band spend so much time on the road. As a lad he had a collie called Lassie, but now has takes a toy dog around with him for company!

He thinks the spice girls played a big part in the boys' success back in America. "They brought pop back into the US," he says. "They started getting successful and everybody in America turned round and said, 'OK, where are the great homegrown acts?'"

Brian's never been a stranger to hoards of screaming girls - even when he sang in his school's talent contest, the place was packed full of'em!

We all know Brian's a bit of a joker, but appearing in public dressed only in a nappy? There must be some mistake! "It was for Hallowe'en, which is always massive in the States," he reveals. "I dressed up as a Japanese sumo wrestler by wrapping a towel around my waist and between my legs. It was like one big nappy! It was so funny!" We can imagine...

Brian's motor is one of his most prized possessions - so much so that he washes it at least once a week! Pass the Turtle Wax, please!

Even though Brian and best band mate Nick are totally inseparable , they do occasionally fall out. Don't worry though, 'cos they never come to blows - they just settle it with a quick game of basketball!

There's one surefire way to tell if Bri's got the hots for you - he reckons he completely clams up when he's with someone he really fancies! Aww!

You won't find Brian sitting at home on New Year's Eve - he's got big plans to celebrate the millennium. "I'd love to be playing Times Square in front of half a million people, and have the proceeds go to five chairties we'd individually donate to - that'd be great!"

If Brian ever gets bored of making music, he'd love to end up on the silver screen. He fancies himself as a bit of a thespian and sees himself starring in a wacky Jim Carrey style comedy!

Brian's always been a bit of a perfomer - even from a very early age. His first public perfomance was at the age of six, when he sang a solo in churc in front of 1.500 people! Bless!

Not surprisingly, Brian loves getting the chance to travel abroad, and reckons Australia is one of his favourite countries - he loves playing volleyball on the clean, white beaches there. He has to watch out, though - Brian's fair skin makes him extremely prone to sunburn. Slap on that sunscream!

Somebody call Carol Smillie! When it comes to slapping on a bit of gloss or putting up shelves, Brian's definitely not your man! "I love my house, but I hate decorating," he complains. "I'll be glad when it's all finished!"
