Champ's Favourite Levels The following maps have been custom designed by Outlaws players who used a program called Lawmaker. They're a handful of some of the most popular (or interesting!) maps, and you'll often see them being played in the Zone or on mIRC.
I base my ratings for these maps on account of the following criteria: Good looks, Amount of Fun, and Easiness... Good criteria eh? hehe... Also, I use a bottom of the line 1MB no-name video card. So I'm basing the rating of these maps on their ability to run successfully and smoothly without 3Dfx. Ratings: ***** Excellent **** Great *** Good ** Fair * Poor

Rampage: (Anon?-DM, TMS, TAG, KFC) Definately my favourite map. I'm not sure which Lawmaker created it, but it's a beauty.
It combines quick frame rates, modified weapons, smooth textures, and hidden secrets. These elements come together to make a fun, fast, and furious map. Worth the download! *****

The Long War: (Gas-TMS, CTF, DM) This is the definative CTF map! Two forts face each other with a hill in the middle. The challenge? Getting into the opposite base without being sniped while crossing the hill. This map is best for CTF action. *****

Ski: (StanJr, LukeSky and Foghorn-DM, TMS, CTF) Quite possibly the craziest map ever made! This map has two ski hills facing a pond. Two forts stand atop the ski hills. Doesen't sound interesting? Wait it gets better. The ice on the hills and ground are actually slippery which makes CTF a blast! Also, there are two spots beside each hill which are low-gravity, and two "ski-lifts" which make this map truely unique! Unfortunately, this level isn't played as often as it should be in the Zone, but if you get the chance to play it, definately don't pass it up! A truely unique map! ****

Oz_Hotel: (Oz_Raptor, Oz_Slaters_dog, Oz_Bear, Oz_Hagen-DM, TMS, KFK(Koala)) Another unique map with custom made characters and objects. Oz_Hotel is a large building with many small rooms, surrounded by a dusty desert lawn. Fun times to be had with the modified characters. Keep an eye out for that Koala in Kill the Fool With the Koala! ****

The Outfitters: (Templar-DM,TMS) Despite its size, this map has many crates and boxes which are perfect for hiding and sniping. This is not a large map, but manages to give the player a unique feel of being in a warehouse. Fast frame rates make this map worthwhile. ****

Los Cazadores: (Sonic55-TMS,DM,CTF) This map is HUGE. It's always being played in the Zone. This map has two forts facing one another, with a large strip of flat land in between. Tunnels run from fort to fort, and surface at a small turret in the strip of land between the forts. Many sniping areas can be found above and to the side of either fort, and can be accessed by the tunnels. The most interesting thing about this map is a sniper rifle (Gun selection#1 when you pick up any rifle) which can kill with one shot. It has a scope which helps in sniping, and holds tons of ammunition. Despite the amount of fun involved in getting the sniper rifles as quickly as possible, this map can be frustrating if a sniper picks you off as soon as you respawn. Also, low frame rates tend to make this level difficult for me to play, particularily when attempting to snipe from above the forts. However, with a little patience and a good video card, this map would be hours of entertainment! ***

Stone: (Templar-DM,CTF,TMS) If you're a CTF fan, this is a great map for you. This map is beautifully designed with great textures and excellent placements of stairs and crevices. Beware of the water though, you might find it hard to recover a flag if a player carrying it drowns! Fun times to be had with this map, and definately try playing it with CTF! *****
