When you have 15-19 lives, you get the red fireballs added to your laser gun. In this wave, shoot for the power-up first, and quickly, or the bear will get you while you're picking it up.
Wave 37
Watch for left over bombs. Get the spiny ships first.
Someone called these ships African masks... I like that name! As you
target one ship, the red fireballs hit the others.
Wave 38
Again, watch for left over bombs. Lure the bear to the left, then sneak
through a space in his bombs to collect the power-up.
Once you have the power-up, you should kill the bear first, then go
after the African masks.
Wave 39
Get the power-up first, and hope you don't get shot trying to pick
it up. Watch the red pepper!
Wave 40
I usually go for the power-up first in this wave, right now there's
left over bombs in my way.
If you keep shooting while you wait for the power-up, it's easier to
get, but you get less points. When you become more used to avoiding bombs,
you can get more brazen and refrain from shooting until you have the power-up.
In order to get this power-up, because there's a bomb just below it,
just stay in this position. The bomb will miss you and you'll pick up the
power-up.
