MegaZeux uses a programming language called
Robotics. You don't need to know it, but if you want to make a good
game, learn it. Although it runs only with 16 colors and 256 characters,
don't be disappointed. You can use the palette editor to change the colors,
and the character editor to change the characters. My site is mainly about
MegaZeux, so if you don't have it, get
it!
