Jareth is 6'3" tall and lightly built. He is slender to the point of being nearly too thin, lending him a somewhat androgynous quality. His skin is pale, his cheeks slightly sunken - or perhaps it is that his cheekbones are pronounced. Long silvery hair floats around his shoulders, usually in startling disarray. His eyes are dark, black perhaps, or the deepest depths of indigo.

A vain creature in  most respects, he heightens his differentness with makeup. Kohl smudges the pale eyelids and calls attention to those bottomless eyes. A touch of liner, artfully applied, defines his thin lips, lending them a bit more substance.

His wardrobe is as varied as any woman's. Stark black or indigo velvet formal suits, or close fitting tights and flowing silk shirts seem to be favored of late. Occasionally he heightens the ghostly image by wearing white or silver, which makes him seem still less substantial.

A drifting labyrinth is the prison he calls home. He can only escape it for short periods of time. Too long away and he begins to lose touch with the magics that allow him to pass for human (or as some mistake him, elven). Being the magical construct that it is, the maze can attach itself where he wills it.

Within the labyrinth are several gardens, one for each season and several more, and the cottage, the inside of which would set an agorophobe into catatonia. He has lost count of the rooms inside, and some he's never visited more than once. Stairs lead everywhere and nowhere and in all directions.

The grand ballroom is open to any who choose to visit. Its crystal chandaliers send ethereal rainbows flitting throughout its expanse, and along its walls lovely, heavy couches covered in silk damask stand gathered in small conversation groups.

Vocation A gambler, to most, though some would consider him a mage. His wealth, what little there actually is, comes from carefully considered wagers and daring challenges.
