Additional Scenario books for Napoleon's Battles

by Brian Robinette

Here is a brief description of his scenarios.

Book #1-

Castricum 1799- English and Russians vs. French and Dutch. Duke of York vs. Brune and Vandamm. ~ 1 Corps per side.

Saalfeld 1806- About as small an engagement as NB can handle. Lannes' V Corps takes on Duke of Brunswick's Prussians and Saxons.

Heilsburg 1807- Battle before Friedland. French vs. Russians. 2-3 Corps per side.

Bailen 1808- Bottom of the barrel French vs. Top notch Spainish. Can Dupont get his baggage and wounded through.

Neumarkt 1809- The Austrians turn and maul their pursuing Franco-Bavarian enemies. ~1 Corps per side.

Raszyn 1809- Where are the French. Poles and Saxons vs. Austrians 10 km south of Warsaw. ~ 1 Corps per side.

Eberserg 1809- Massena is drawn into a battle across a heavily Austrian defented river line. ~3 Corps per side.

Albuera 1811- Developed before the 2nd AH suppliment, I think that this one gives a more "historic" result. I could be biased though.

Book #2-

Novi 1799- This is the one that kicked the French out of Italy while Boney was out building sandcastles. Russians & Austrians vs. French. ~1-2 Corps per side.

Pultusk 1806- Lannes V Corps runs into the whole Russian Army of the West. Another of my classic "death with dignity" scenarios. A real hoot for the anti-French among us.

Medellin 1809- The Spainish are attacking! Yeah, and they have a good chance at winning if handled properly. Spainish vs. French. Come beat up on the hapless Victor.

Piave 1809- French and Italians vs Austrians. A neat little battle. ~ 2 Corps per side.

Barossa 1811- A nice small engagement British and Spainish vs. French. ~ 1 division per side

Gorodetschna 1812- Austrians and Saxons vs. Russians on the Southern Front of Napoleons advance. Prince Schwartsenberg manages to recieve a metal from BOTH sides in this one. ~2 Corps per side.

Gross Beeren 1813- 2 small battles for the price of one. ~1 large Corps per side. French and Saxons vs. Prussians and Russians.

Wavre 1815- The last of the Waterloo quartet. French vs Prussians. ~2 Corps per side.

Book #3-

Castiglione 1796- French vs. Austrians. Can you help Boney pull this one out of the fire. ~6 divisions per side.

Zurich 1799- French vs. Russians and Austrians. "The best defence is a good offence."-A. Massena.

Scaile 1809- The other battle in 1809 Italy. ~ 2 Corps per side.

Linz 1809- Wurttemburger and Saxons vs Austrians. This move could have seriously hurt Nappy in '09 and cut his supply line.

Bussaco 1810- French vs. British. Massena does the 3rd day of Gettysburg a little early. ~3 Corps per side.

Fuentes de Onoro 1811- French vs. British. Massena has his revenge and flanks the #@!! out of ole Nosey. ~ 3 Corps per side.

Polotsk 1812- French and Bavarians vs. Russians. This is the big northern battle of the great invasion. ~2 Corps per side.

Malo-Jaroslavets 1812- Italians and some French vs Russians. This is one of the key battles of the invasions. ~ 1-2 Corps per side.

Book #4-

Rivoli 1797- French vs. Austrians. Classic Nappy.

Halle 1806- French vs Prussians. The only 2 Corps for both armies that did not meet at Jena-Aurstadt.

Redinha 1811- French vs. British. Ney conducts a rear guard action against Nosey. ~1 Corps per side.

Saltanovka 1812- French vs. Russians. Davout winds up behind the retreating Russians early in the campaign. Can they breakthrough to Smolensk. ~1 Corps per side.

Valoutina Gora 1812- Fr. vs. Russians. After Smolensk, Ney nearly captures the Russians baggage train. ~3 Corps per side.

Dennewitz 1813- French and Saxons vs. Prussians. Can Ney clear the road to Berlin before the Bernadotte and the Sweds arrive? ~ 3 Corps per side.

Sehested 1813- Russo-German and KGL vs. Danish Aux. Corps. The Danes have left Davout in Hamberg and are trying to get home. Can they push through the Allied force in front of them? ~ 1 Corps per side.

La Souffel 1815- French vs. Wurttembergers and Prussians. The last battle of the Napoleonic wars. Fought after Waterloo can Rapp hold off the Allies?
