Chirdonhead is a very long but, at the same time, extremely fast stage. The car will probably require a gearbox change - use the second from the left gearbox (A8 cars will need the slowest gearbox that has most acceleration on the far left). For much of the first stage you'll be driving at top speed but beware. Towards the end of the stage, sharp junctions and narrow bridges will appear - you'll have no problem if you practise the stage a bit first and memorize the points of the stage that require a bit of braking.
Although the road is surrounded by open grassland, watch out for the gentle banks that appear now and again. If you take the wrong line you could well end up having to repair more of your car then just the tyres.
