Hidden Pool
In Level 6 when you are near the top if the map almost up the hill you will pass under a danger sign and a curvy road sign will be on your right.Take a hard right at these signs onto a gray area, then keep right and follow the fence down the mountain. Right before the water on your left will be a tunnel going into the mountain. Hop inside and keep your speed up to try the loop inside. There are many ramp like things on the ground but set your sights above There is another level high near the ceiling. To reach it, don't use the ramps. Just get up some speed and drive up the wall towards the opening. If you are positioned right you will land on the upper level. There you will find the pool. Well not really full of water but in a skating sense, like the halfpipe. There are at least two keys in this huge cave.

Secret Place on Track Two
On track two, go on the bridge and stay on the right. When you come to the check-point, run straight through the cones and stay on the yellow line. When you come to the jump quickly turn left and catch the lower bridge and go straight. And you'll enter a half-pipe. Good Luck!

Secret Tunnel on Track 6
At the end of the course you will be on top of a mountain. Right before you go under the yellow sign that says caution you will see a gray road to your right. Take the road and go to the end (not too fast!) drive down the mountain and head to your right along the edge of the water. You will see a tunnel on the right side, go in it and you'll find a loop, tons of jumps and other cool things!

Shortcuts

Level 2: When you see a truck go under it and you should hit a jump, go on to a building, hit a jump, and land on yet another building. Also, when you see a danger sign, go left and hit a jump. Another one is when you see a line of cones. Go through it and stay in the left lane and keep your speed at about 125 mph. You will go on a broken bridge and into a weird situation.

Level 4: When you see a big place of grass there are two shortcuts to the right. The first one you hit a jump and go through a tunnel. The second one is farthest to the right. You go through a tunnel which starts to go up. You come out and hit the top of a tunnel which is a jump. You will then go on the top of a building. You will now hit a jump and land on a building. Follow the gray line and you will fall off the building and go through an alleyway made of brick.

Special Car in Circuit Mode
Win a Circuit. From then on, if you are using the same player, you can Press Z, Z, Z, Z on the Track Select screen to enable the special car.

Stunt Track
On track 2, there are two places with cones you can drive through. On the 2nd one, go up the hill, at about 120 miles per hour. Stay that speed the whole way. Stay in the very left lane. When you go off the hill, if done right, you should be on another road. Keep driving on that road as fast as you can. You should see a red loop-the-loop. Stay in the left lane, and hit the loop-the-loop. If going fast enough, you should do a loop-the-loop.

Tag Mode
Allows players to play a special game of tag.

Hit the abort button during the countdown sequence at the start of a 2-player practice game. The timer will be set to 5 minutes. When you‘re IT, your timer is running. IT must tag the other player to stop his timer and make the other player IT. The newly-IT player will resurrect in place, causing a delay and giving the former IT time to escape. Player 2 is always IT first. When time runs out, "Game Over" shows until someone presses Start.

Turn Cones into Mines
For explosive action, quickly press L, R, L, R, L, R on the SETUP screen. This code turns the cones into mines that blow up anything that hits them. Drive safely!

Turn Tracks Upside-down
To turn the track upside down, quickly press Up, Right, Down, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left on the SETUP screen.

Turn into a Real Mine
To do this you must enter the code where the cones turn into mines. Start the game and run into a mine. Now quit the game and turn off the cones. After all that, put in the turn car into mine code and start the game. Once in the game, run into a mine. You will suddenly become a mine.

If you're a mine and you hit another car, you turn back into a car and the other car you hit blows up.

Submitted by Mark DeBella

Turn into a Virtual Mine
Replaces the car in the viewing window with an orange mine. This is only for viewing purposes, and the car will not appear as a mine during the actual race.

On the Car Select screen, press Right C, Right C, Z, Down C, Up C, Z, Left C, Left C. Perform the code again to viewing the cars normally.

SUPER MARIO 64

Belly Flop
To make Mario do a belly flop, do a sideflip but press A and B simultaneously.

Bowser Shortcuts
On the third Bowser, I find a small part of the level very annoying, so I found a way to skip it. On the first "vertical merry-go-round" (the one with the visible life in the middle), duck. When you reach the peak of the revolution, jump. If you timed right, Mario should flip onto a platform above him.

When you get half way up the first part of the metal ramp (the part where you can stand still and not fall before the first flame thrower), turn around and do a long jump. If you did this correctly you will be on the checkered platform with the small firebreathing plant.

Butterfly Punching
Sometimes in the game you will see a bunch of butterflies fly out of a tree or grass. Punch or touch any of them and they will turn into a 1-UP. Also some of the butterflies turn into bombs.

Camera Trick
After you've won the game, you can control the camera angle in the scene where Mario is talking to the Princess. To do so, use the analog stick on Controller Two. You can also do this on the Credits screen.

Change Obstacle Speed
To change the obstacle speed on Course 14, try this. For slower obstacles, enter when the minute hand is on 3. To stop them completely, enter when the minute hand is on 12. For the more ambitious, enter when the minute hand is on 6 for a greater challenge, or 9 for the ride of your life!

Climb Steep Surfaces
In star 1-2, when you start the race, go through the trench and then long jump onto the marble slope. Now keep holding the A button and press the B button repeatedly. You will then jump-kick your way up the slope and end up on a part of the mountain if done correctly. This should save you a lot of time on the race. This technique works elsewhere too.

Dead Mario Trick
Go to "Wet Dry World" and get in the cannon. Aim the cannon right above the sun. Shoot the cannon and you will hit the invisible wall. You will fall back down in the cannon but your power container will loose a lot of life. Do this many times in a row and and you will die. You will still be able to shoot out of the cannon!

Easy Star 6 in Wet-Dry World
To get star 6 in Wet-Dry World the easy way, just go to Wet-Dry World and go to town. Once you're there, go into the cage with the star in it (don't hit the ! Switch.) Once your cap runs-out, wall-kick off the fence and onto the ledge!

Escape the Black Room of Death
For years people thought that the only way to escape the Black Room of Death (the bug where you jump into the middle pillar of the castle) was resetting the game. Well, I have found the way to escape it. When you are inside the Black Room of Death on the inside view of the castle put yourself against the right side of the room. Make sure that you can't see Mario. Now run or jump towards the wall that would be on the side of the door to the outside. You should jump through the wall and be free of the Black Room of Death.

Extra Lives Outside
When you are outside, and the water is gone, go under the bridge and locate two yellow coins. Do a side jump and then a wall kick to get them. When you get the second coin a 1-up should fall. Run over to it and collect it. Enter the basement or the main castle door, then come out again and recollect your 1-up. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

Extra Lives on the Ice Stage
To find some extra lives on the Ice stage:

On the first Ice stage, begin your slide.
On the first left turn, head for the row of Coins.
You'll slide into a tunnel that holds 2 extra lives.

Fall from Great Heights Safely
When you're falling, do a butt-stomp just before you hit the ground. If your timing was right you'll take no damage.

For more style, try this. If you have the wing cap do a triple jump, but just before you flip press B and dive while holding A. You'll glide down and take no damage when you land.
Submitted by Harrison Young and Minion

Final Level Playing Tip
The very last level is very hard unless you know a secret. The first couple of hits are easy because the whole plate is still there. But when the sides fall out and form a star, this is what you do. Whenever Bouser runs at you do a side jump right over his head. When the plate starts to tilt, find the running speed that will keep you in the exact same spot.
Submitted by Andy Marlow

First Person View
Set your camera mode to "HOLD CAM" then, using the regular camera, look around by pressing C-Up. Now hold R and press A or B. The Lakitu should be very close to Mario. Walk into the Lakitu to change your perspective. You can see your surroundings, but you may see pieces of Mario.

Healing
If your power meter is low dive into the nearest pool of water. When you resurface your power meter will be restored.

Hidden Coins
Run around any wooden post five times to receive five coins.

Infinite Lives - Japanese
For infinite lives in the Japanese version, go to any of the Bowser bosses (the first is easiest). Run around Bowser and collect 1,000 of the coins he drops. From now on when you die you will gain a life instead of losing a life.

Kill Bowser in Seconds
This is easy to pull off on Bowser One, but a bit harder on Bowser Two or Three. Run behind him and grab his tail. As soon as Mario picks it up, drop it by pressing B again. Then run in front of Bowser and press B. Mario should've punched thin air, but Bowser will actually transport from behind Mario to his tail being in Mario's mitts! Use this technique to lure him into a bomb.

Mario Hat Factory
Go to the desert level in the basement, then choose any level other than #1. Next go over to the palm tree by the red bomb-omb buddy. Let the bird take your hat, then stand on the closest piller and when the bird flies around the piller, hit him so he drops the hat, but don't pick-up the hat! Then go stand under the palm tree until you teleport by the cannon. Then teloport back to the palm tree.

Every time you do this, another hat will fall on top of the one befor it. After you do this 50 times, the game will screw-up and freeze.

Messed-up Room
After you get all 120 stars, shoot yourself onto the roof where Yoshi is. Then get the winged hat and jump off the roof. Now go back into the cannon and shoot yourself back onto the roof only this time aim for the highest "tower" (in the direct center of the castle). Go to the left side of the wall, facing the castle and before the perpendicular wall, and do a jump-dive into the side of the wall. You should fall through the castle into a "black room" that is a major glitch.

Owl Ride
To get a ride on an owl, go to Whomp's Fortress (Level 2) and pick "Shoot Into The Wild Blue" or a higher star. Now climb the tree to your left and an owl will fly out. He will now let you ride him. But if you wait too long he'll tell you to lay off the pasta and drop you.

Penguin Rematch
When you get 120 stars return to Cool Cool Mountain for a rematch with the penguin. If you thought he was big before, you'll be in for a surprise.

Quick Trip Downtown in Wet-Dry World
You DO NOT need the cannon to get stars 11-5 and 11-6 ("Going Downtown for 8 Red Coins" and "Quick Race Through Downtown!"). To get a shortcut, jump in the painting to Wet-Dry World as high as you can. If you jumped high enough, the water level should be at its peak. Now just swim over to the caged area and jump out; Mario should grab on to the fencing. Just dive in and swim your way downtown!

Secret Aquarium
On course 3 jolly rancher bay go in the door and take a few steps and go to the right. Look up and there will be a dark black square. Go in the square and you will go to the secret aqarium and get 8 red coins.

Secret Slide in Peach's Castle
When you enter the castle go up the stairs and turn right, the last room should be filled with stained glass windows. Go towards the first window on the right and jump in it.

Short-cut in Tall Tall Mountain
When you start out in Tall Tall Mountain don't go the usual way, instead go the other way behind you you will find a 1-up and have to keep runing after you get it and immediately afterwards go towards the wall you will be on a upper part of the level.

Shortcut to Star #4 on Lethal Lava
Go to Lethal Lava Land and pick Star #4. Find the Grating where Mr. I is waiting, then enter the hole. Wait and you will warp to an island with a Wing Cap. Put it on, then do a triple jump and fly past the log onto the island with Star #4.
Submitted by Chris Zinn

Shortcut to Star #6 in Cool, Cool Mountain
When you begin the level run past the cottage at the beginning and head to the platform where the snowman's body is. Near there should be a guy that sorta looks like a flower (He has flower petals on his head) and jump on him. Mario will do his helecopter spin. While Mario is spinning in air, He will decend slowly. Steer him towards the edge of the lowest platform of the area. (I.E. the Platform where the Icicles hang from) DO NOT LAND ON THE PLATFORM!! Instead, decend under the ledge and try to land on the Ice platform where star #6 rests. It's alot easier than using wall kicks to get it as labeled (Wall Kicks will work)!!

Sliding Shortcut #1
To improve your time on the Red Sliding level:

Enter the Red Sliding level.
Jump to the left as soon as you exit the tunnel.
With a little practice you can land on the later part of the course, saving you valuable time. Complete the course in under 21 seconds to receive a Star.

Sliding Shortcut #2
This shortcut works in the ice/blue sliding level.

Pass the first two turns
Do not turn at the third turn
Let yourself fall slightly to the left

Teleport on Cool, Cool, Mountain
On the level Cool, Cool, Mountain where you start, turn right until you see a broken down bridge. Go to the very end of the bridge and it will teleport you to another broken down bridge right next to the mother penguin. However you can't take the baby penguin on this secret.

The Trix Rabbit?
When in the basement, catch the hopping rabbit.   When he gives you the star, pick him up.   Jump into the Sand level (while holding the rabbit).   The ground will be rainbow colored! (One time only)

Tiny-Huge Island Tip
If you are small, butt stomp the big goombas to recieve a blue coin instead of a yellow coin!

Top of the World
After obtaining 120 stars and talking to Yoshi, Mario can climb up to the very tip of the steeple on the castle. Acquire wings, climb into the cannon and shoot yourself as high up as you can, aiming at the steeple. Once you get to the lower ring, you can climb up the wall that is on the left back side (northwest from above.) If you get to the exact top of the steeple, you can triple-jump without running and fly incredibly high.

Unlimited Lives
When you start a game outside of the castle go to the second tree from the waterfall climb it and get the extra life. Now go into the castle door and comeback out again to get another life, you can keep on doing this forever.
Submitted by Gonzalo B.

Unlimited Lives in Final Battle
When fighting Bowser for the third time, if you get killed you can keep getting a 1-Up by walking behind the top left pillar.

Visit Yoshi
1. Collect all 120 Stars
2. Go to the Castle Gardens
3. The grid near the Fish Pond will open, revealing a cannon
4. Shoot yourself onto the roof of the Castle and Yoshi will be there!
5. It's a short visit, but he'll give you 100 lives and a triple-jump move before he leaves!

Wet-Dry Wonders
They say that a picture's worth a thousand words. Apparently, the picture of Wet-Dry World is also worth a thousand valves. You can control the level of water by the height of Mario's jump. If he jumps into the picture at a higher level, the water level is higher (and visa versa.) You can save lots of mucking about by choosing the right height.

BANJO-KAZOOIE

Bottles' Bonus
After Beating Treasure Trove Cove, go back to Banjo's House, outside Gruntilda's Lair. Once inside, look at the Bottles the mole picture and you will go into a secret game of put the moving puzzle pieces together. Once all the pieces are fitted, congratulations! You've just accessed the first code.

To redeem it, go to Treasure Trove Cove, drain the water around the castle, and enter. Every time you complete one of his puzzles he will give you a new code, they are as follows:

First puzzle: BOTTLESBONUSONE this gives Banjo a big head.
Second puzzle: BOTTLESBONUSTWO this gives Banjo big feet and hands.
Third puzzle: BOTTLESBONUSTHREE this gives Kazooie a big head.
Fourth puzzle: BOTTLESBONUSFOUR this gives Banjo a tall skinny body and a little head
Fifth puzzle: BOTTLESBONUSFIVE this gives Banjo a tall skinny body little head, big hands, and big feet.
Sixth puzzle: BIGBOTTLESBONUS this gives Banjo a tall skinny body, big head, big hands, big feet. (this code may also give Kazooie a big head too, I can't remember, you'll see when you try it)
Seventh puzzle: WISHYWASHYBANJO this turns Banjo into a washing machine. He still has all his abilities, he just looks different.
To cancel these codes, enter the word NOBONUS.

Bubblegloop Surprises
In Bubblegloop swamp, there is a shock jump pad that'll take you to the top of a hut. Butt-stomp this hut to reveal another jump pad. Somewhere there is a "Gruntilda Switch" that gives you a puzzle piece and blows the cone off of the little statue of Gruntilda by the note door that requires 260 notes. There is also a Jinjo in a hut and a well-hidden Mumbo Token in mid-air.

Cheato's First Spell Book
To enter Cheato's first lair, go into Bubblegloop Swamp and find Mumbo's Hut. (To find Mumbo's hut, go above the gator's head into the maze and you'll have to find his hut.) He will transform you into a gator. Now exit Bubble Gloop Swamp and go into Gruntilda's lair. Try to go BEHIND the entrance to Bubble Gloop Swamp. If you successfully go behind puzzle to Bubble Gloop Swamp, you'll find Cheato the Spell Book.

Cheato's Second Spell Book
Go to the level MAD MONSTER MANSION. Change to the pumpkin and go to the platform that BRENTILDA is on, go through the little hole and get the red spell book. Then go to the BANJOKAZOOIE puzzle in TREASURE TROVE COVE then enter REDFEATHERS to get 100 feathers and a maximum of 100.
Submitted by Alex Marcy

Cheato's Third Spell Book
To find Cheato's 3rd spellbook, you have to have the water risen to the 2nd level before you can race to the lair.

Find the switch to raise the water to the third level (behind a grated pathway behind the 460 note door when the water has risen the first time.) Go through the door then immediately dive down in the water and go to the Rusty Bucket Bay area and swim to the top after coming out and look for a staircase and that will lead you to the lair.

Note: After hitting the switch to raise the water to the third level, you'll only have 30 seconds to get your furry hide to the lair.

Double Health
If you have enough notes, open the 882-Note Door, then stand on the puzzle piece platform. By completing the picture with four of your Jiggys, your Honeycomb Energy Meter will turn red. From then on, your Honeycomb Energy will be twice as strong. In essence, one red Honeycomb Energy Piece will represent two pieces on your meter, so one hit will turn a red piece yellow, and a subsequent hit will completely deplete the piece of energy.

Extra Life on Banjo's House
Get to the top of Banjo's house by doing a sommersault and then jump on top of the chimney. Jump as high as you can and touch the the golden statue of Banjo, resulting in an extra life. There's another extra life behind the waterfall.

Extra Starting Animations
When picking a game to load, press START+R+A simultaneously. If your timing was right you'll be rewarded with a humourous animation.

Funnier Game Select Animations
Want to have some fun with Banjo when you load the game? Well, here's how. Go to the Game Select area and choose your game. Now, do one of the following:

On Game 1: Watch the fish swimming around in the fish-bowl. After a while he will butt his head into the side of the bowl, causing a TOCK sound. Immediately after you hear the third TOCK sound, press A and Banjo will be thrown out the window.

On Game 2: Again, watch the fish swimming around in the fish-bowl. After a while he will butt his head into the side of the bowl, causing a TOCK sound. Immediately after you hear the third TOCK sound, press A and the wall will spin around causing Kazooie to be chucked outside.

On Game 3: You must listen for the BOING sound coming from the Gameboy. The third time you hear it, press A and a giant spring will come out from the the bottom of the chair, launching Banjo out of the house.

Hidden Terrain Boots
When you enter the door to cavern that has the walkway to Bubblegloop swamp, there are 2 log entrances. One leads to Brentilda, the other to a pair of well hidden terrain boots. Use these to get to a small entrance behind Bubblegloop swamp that leads to frezeezy peak.

Infinite Eggs
After entering CHEAT on the sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove cove, spell BANJOBEGSFORPLENTYOFEGGS. (Banjo begs for plenty of eggs.)

NOTE: You won't hear a sound confirming the code until you've entered the entire sentence.

Infinite Mumbo Tokens
After entering CHEAT on the sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove cove, spell DONTBEADUMBOGOSEEMUMBO. (Don't be a dumbo, go see Mumbo.)

NOTE: You won't hear a sound confirming the code.

Infinite Red Feathers
After entering CHEAT on the sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove cove, spell NOWYOUCANFLYHIGHINTHESKY. (Now you can fly high in the sky.)

NOTE: You won't hear a sound confirming the code until you've entered the entire sentence.

Jumping Tip
As you know, there are three types of jumps in Banjo-Kazooie. In all three, if you press the ATTACK button during your jump you'll travel a little farther than you normally would.

Less Damage From A Fall
To take less damage from a fall, press B just before you land.

Playing Tips

Question: Ok, I found the entrance to Monster Mansion where the lava is… so where is the puzzle board to open up this stage, how do I get to it?

Answer: It's near Freezeezy Peak, in that section with the witch where you enter to get to that lava place, there is a ramp that leads a good distance up above the witch statue. The first tunnel to the left up there leads you into water. Go to the left through the hole and then through the next hole to the left in that area. This brings you to a third area, where a couple platforms sit. Double jump from one to the next until you find the puzzle picture.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question: I've been in the room where the entrance is to the Click Clock Wood stage, where is the thing you stand on to put the puzzle piece in the board? I can't find it anywhere... I read several posts that said look for a leaf but I can't find it.

Answer: You can't get into the Click Clock Wood stage until you pass the Monster Mansion and Rusty Bucket Bay levels. After that you won't have any problem finding the switch.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question: I went into the water tunnel that's located at the room where the spider webs are, swam past the mine and pirahnas, and came to the last room. How do I get up to the top where the puzzle is located?

Answer: First of all, you have to have located the Mad Monster Mansion stage. A ways to the left of the entrance to the mansion there is a gate. Beak bust the lock, then enter the mansion to find Mumbo, who turns you into a pumpkin. Exit the stage as a pumpkin and go to the area where you beak busted the lock. Follow the path to where you come to a house. Mumbo should be in there so make him change you back. There will be a tomb in there, which inside, has a thing to butt stomp on. That will make the water rise to level one.

Next, head for the place where you activated the Mad Monster Mansion door, and go to the place where you see a ship above you. That should be the second area where you entered to get to the MMM jiggy inserter. The water should be raised enough to get on the ship. Go all the way to the left of the area where a box with the Rare sign sits. Butt stomp it, and the water should be raised to a second level.

Refill Eggs, Red Feathers, and Gold Feathers At Once
Once you have all 3 Cheato book codes, you can go to the floor of the Sandcastle and enter these letters to refill everything all at once: BLUEREDGOLDFEATHERS

Rusty Bucket Bay Whistle Combination
The combination for the whistle game in Rusty Bucket Bay is 312-111.

Secret Room in Monster Mansion
In Mad Monster Mansion there is a secret room outside the Church. Look at all the stain glass windows outside the castle and the one with a picture of Banjo and Kazooie jump into it.

Warp Cauldron Locations
The warp cauldrons transport Banjo-Kazooie to other locations in Gruntilda's Lair. The time it takes to get to certain levels can be noticeably reduced.

There are three sets of cauldrons.

PURPLE: The first purple cauldron can be found through a passageway in the area where the Treasure Trove Cove jigsaw puzzle is located. The second cauldron is located in the area prior to Freezeezy Peak, where there is a large witch's head. It can be found tucked in a cave that is hidden behind a spiderweb. Use eggs to destroy the web.
BLUE: The first blue cauldron can be found near the second purple cauldron is located. Go to the top of the spiral walkway, where there is another spiderweb on the ground. Shoot eggs out your rear to destroy the web. The second blue cauldron is located in the area with the entrance to Rusty Bucket Bay. It is near the top of a bunch of stacked boxes.
RED: The first red cauldron is located inside the pipe below the passageway heading to Clanker's Cavern (also the same area where there is a passage to Treasure Trove Cove). The second red cauldron is tucked away in a passage at the bottom of the hill before Click Clock Wood. There are two entryways and they are just barely visible above the grass.
Forsaken

FORSAKEN 64

Access Hidden Levels
Forsaken has levels set up in a branching manner. If you beat level 1 in two minutes and 30 seconds or less, you'll go to the medium difficulty levels branch. Finish Level 1 in one minute and 40 seconds or less and you will go to the hard difficulty levels branch.

There are two other levels in which you can "warp" from the Medium path to the Hard path. They are "Catch the Orb" and "Power Down" -- (both found in the Medium path). In Catch the Orb, you'll have to chase down the third bounty hunter within the game (don't pick up the fake golden orb of matter) and once you destroy the hunter, he'll drop the real golden orb. Get it, and return to the starting point -- now you will be able to play the Hard path.

In Power Down, simply make your way to the end of the stage, (pick up a resnic reanimator -- extra life), hit all three switches, then destroy the enemies that come out of the now unlocked doors. Once this is done, the thing in the middle will lower it's protective armor, and then go to the front of it and blast the Red "eye".

(The other way to remain on the medium path, is to blast the eye at an angle while it's armor is still up.)

Diddy Kong Racing

DIDDY KONG RACING

2X Speed Burst
Whenever you hit a zipper of any kind, or use any Speed Burst item, let go of the Accelerate button before you use the item or hit the zipper. The boost should be twice as powerful.

Adventure 2
To play the second adventure, make your way to Space World (see below) and beat Wizpig again. You'll now have a new option called ADVENTURE 2. In this mode you have to collect platinum balloons and all the adventure tracks will be reversed.

Beating Wizpig
To beat Wizpig the first time, make sure you're using Bumper and start the race. You have to hit every zipper on every lap; if you miss more than one you can't win. Remember to let off the gas right before you hit the zippers for added boost! If you hit all the zippers and get that extra boost you'll beat him with ease!

Beating Wizpig the second time is actually easier than the first if you're using Diddy Kong. First, turbo start and immediately grab the first blue ballon, use it right away and stay low. (It is very important to make all the turns, without hitting the sides of the walls and caves.)

Second, grab the first red ballon (low route) then the second, giving you a heat seeker. You should be close behind him, fire away and fly high. The high route gives you a turbo boost going into the caves; use it immediately (it is possible to pull into first going into the caves.)

As soon as you're in the caves, get the first blue ballon on the left, use it and stay low, this should definately boost you in front of wizpig. Stay low and don't worry about any other ballons until you see the Shield ballon on the left. Make sure you get it, you will need it to make it through Wizpig's chamber. Use it as soon as the space ships start shooting. If done correctly, you will stay in front of wizpig the rest of the race.

For the second and third laps, get only the blue ballons as before, avoid all red ballons, and make sure you get the shield ballon, he normally will never pass you once you pull ahead, as long as you don't hit walls. If he does pull ahead, you will only need one red ballon, then you should be able to pass once again.

Different Sky in Star City
Usually, the sky in Star City is red, but this trick makes it blue. First go to the magic code screen and enter the code "doublevision". Now (if you have two controllers) select the same character and start racing in Star City. The sky will be blue instead of red.

Hidden Gold Balloon
This works best with the hover car. In the lobby, go thru the waterfall to enter the snow-covered place. Continue down the river untill you go thru a small doorway. As soon as you go thru the doorway, head rihgt onto the grass. Keep going untill you get to a ramp. Go up the ramp and there should be a golden balloon.

Key Locations
Dino Domain key:
This key is located in the track called "Ancient Lake". When you start, go straight. Look straight ahead, you can see the key located on a ramp right in front of you between two Stonehenge-like monuments

Snowflake Mountain key:
This key is located in the track called "Snowball Valley". When you start, don't go. Just make an immediate left and go through the path in the mountains. Then take another right and you should see the key in an alcove in the side of the mountain.

Sherbert Island key:
This key is located in the track called "Crescent Island". When you start, take the left path. After the second zipper, lead left even more, into the water. Go and look at the side of the mountain straight ahead. There should be an alcove with the key in it.

Dragon Forest key:
This key is located in the track called "Boulder Canyon". Get to the part of the track where you see a bell hanging from the ceiling. Power up your speed burst to level 3 (get three blue balloons). The turn around and face the bell from the "wrong way" then hit the bell. The drawbridge in front of you should raise. Use your level 3 speedburst and speed up the raising drawbridge and get the key. (Make sure its a 2x burst, and be sure to jump right when you reach the top of the bridge!)

Play as Drumstick
To play as Drumstick, find all of the amulets, the WizPig and the TT amulets. Once you've done this, go to the main feild where you usually start and go over to the frogs by the water. Find the frog with a little red bird on it's head and run over it. Drumstick will appear and you can now race with him whenever you want.

Shortcuts
Fossil Canyon: This one is obvious. At the fork in the road, take a left. It's a bit shorter and safer.

Dino Domain Boss: This shortcut is on the boss of Dino Domain (the triceratops). About halfway up the mountain, after the place where you go past a large pillar on the right with two balloons, you should see some bushes on the right. Behind them is a tunnel that will almost assure that you'll win.

Frosty Village 1: In the part where you go past several large pillars, go either left or right off-road. You must make use of the three Zippers of both paths.

Frosty Village 2: You must use the hovercraft to take this shortcut without losing speed. Near the end, you'll see a large outcropping with three ledges on it on the right, surrounded by a lake. Underneath it is a tunnel. Go through it.

Snowball Valley 1: Like Fossil Canyon, take the left path at the fork. It's faster.

Snowball Valley 2: The other shortcut is not really a shortcut. Instead, you must grab one of the shield power-ups before the snowball area. Use it to sail right through the snowballs and gain some ground over your snowball-dodging opponents.

Crescent Island 1: Right before the tunnel at the beginning, you'll see a path on the left. Follow it to get a magnet balloon and get ahead.

Crescent Island 2: Using the hovercraft, go left around the pirate ship to find a shorter tunnel.

Crescent Island 3: Or, you can go on the ship and go on the right path next to the tunnel. Then hop right to go through the hole.

Crescent Island 4: The last shortcut here is found after the pirate ship. On the final turn before the end, make a powerslide/hop right to go around the pillar on the right. It's a great way to win at the last second(and it contains a Silver Coin).

Whale Bay: Use the whale near the beginning to jump over the pirate's ship and get a magnet power-up and jump ahead of you foes. Pirate's Lagoon: Near the end, use the Zipper to jump the ramp and get a Turbo power-up.

Windmill Plains: Go through the windmills at the beginning. Both of them contain a Zipper and a Magnet power-up.

Boulder Canyon: In the area after the indoor waterfall, you will see a red balloon on the left and a green one on the right, leading to the rest of the track. But grab the red one and you'll find a hidden tunnel behind it. It contains two coins and is shorter.

Greenwood Village: Near the beginning, you'll go through a village area. You should see a well. Hit the brakes as you approach it and drive over it. You should fall down to a tunnel with a Zipper in it. This is the shortcut.

Haunted Woods: At the fountain in the village area, take a right. It looks longer, but it gets you to the tunnel a bit faster (and it contains a Silver Coin.)

Sherbet Island Boss/Boulder Canyon: In both of these races, you should gain some speed if you hop over the logs with the hovercraft at the right angle. Be careful, if you go at the wrong angle, you'll crash into the log and lose speed!

Star City: Choose the Airplane, then go into Star City and look for the N64 railway train. Follow it for a shortcut. Note: Do NOT hit the train, or else it will go slower.

Alternatively, continue going straight when your in the glass room. When you exit fly high. Look for the Rareware sign (the letter R) and go right through it.

Space World
To visit Space World, you must beat WizPig and get all of the Trophies and Amulets. Once you've done that, go to the sign by the lighthouse and honk at the sign near it. The lighthouse will transform into a rocket and into space.

Don't Leave Me!
This code will only work if you have obtained the slow animation cheat. To do the trick, turn this cheat on and start playing the cradle on any difficultly level. Play the level as normally, by first destroying the computer and then chasing and killing Terelven on the final platform. After the level is complete (once you have killed Tereleven), in the cinematic cutscene that follows, because of the fact that slow animation is on, Bond will run very slowly toward the helicopter. Because only people in the game are affected by the slow animation trick, the helicopter will act as normal and leave before Bond has a chance to get on!

(Hint- Because Tereleven is so slow with the cheat on, it is a good idea to use the Golden PP7 and take him out with one easy shot.)

Double Assault Rifles
In the caverns stage, there is a box in the right corner of the room where you contact Jack Wade. If you shoot this box then a smaller one inside of it appears. Keep shooting the smaller boxes until you see two monitors. If you shoot the monitors they each give you an Assault Rifle. Now you have two AR33's, making your shooting ablity twice as powerful!

Double Gun Zoom
To zoom with guns without sniper sights, mix a gun with a weapon that has a sniper sight.

Double Trouble
This trick lets players 2, 3, and 4 play as the same character. Here's what to do:

Select MULTIPLAYER and choose a 4-player game.
Choose the character you wish to multiply as player 4. Don't start the game!
Select a 3-player game and set player #3 to the same person you used for #4.
Now select a 2-player game and set player #2 to the same person you used for #4.
To finish, choose a 3 or 4-player game and start playing.
If you did it right, players 2, 3 and 4 will be the same person.

Easy Remote Mine Detonation
To detonate a remote mine WITHOUT switching to the detonator, press A + B at the same time.

Easy Way to Earn the Invisibility Code
This is done in 00 agent on the Archives.

First kill the guy infront of you and get the key and leave.  Turn left and go up the stairs. Ignore the guy with the klobbs and go through the door.  Turn left and go through the double-doors and get Natalia.  Just left her see you.  Then go through the doors by the stairs.  Go down the stairs and go through the door in the middle of the room.  Turn left then go straight.  Go through this door then turn a sharp turn left through another door.  Mishkin's in there.  While he's talking get in between the boxes by the safe.  Once you get the key kill Mishkin and get the black-box.  Then go through the oppisite door you came in.  Go down the hallway and in the door.  There are windows in this room, so blow them away and get out.

Exploding Plane
On the "RUNWAY" level, get some grenades then get the key. Just before hopping into the plane, toss in a grenade then get in. (MAKE SURE THE DOOR IS OPEN!) If done correctly the plane will explode and keep on flying without anything wrong with it.

Extra Time in the Train
In the train, when you reach the last car, stand on the right side so that Ourumov is directly in front of Xenia. Shoot Ourumov and then keep shooting after he falls and try to hit Xenia. If you do hit her, she will say, "Wait for me Alec, I'm hit." Alec won't tell you that you've got a minute to escape until you're about half way through with the floor panel, giving you lots of time to finish it. This will also give Natalya more time to find Boris if you're in Secret Agent or 00 Agent Mode.

Fight With OO6
Go to the facilty! To Fight With OO6 when you enter the Lab go to the chemicals canisters! Look for someone in a black suit! If you see him, aim with the KF7 Soviet fire one shot at his Foot! Go down by him and he should say "so golden boy is a traitor" he will start shooting at you! If the does not kill you he should say "Why don't you be a good boy and Die". Shoot at him with the Silenced PP7 in the Head. He should Say "Why James? Why?" just before the alarm goes off.

Flaming Bond
This code requires that you have the invincibility cheat. Go to the Silo level with invincible Bond on. Select the plastique explosives from your watch and throw it on the wall. Now, shoot the explosives with your gun. Wherever you run, the explosions will follow you and kill everything in your path.

Floating Lock
If you fire any explosive at the lock on the gate in the first level (the dam) and then open the gate, the lock should still be floating in midair!

Floating Players
In Multiplayer Mode, choose Facility and start the game. See if anyone has started in the ventilation shaft. If they haven't, kill someone until they do. Have another player go to the stall with the ventilation shaft above it, walk in, and look up. Now the player in the ventilation shaft should go to the hole over the stall and move slowly towards it until his view zooms down. The player in the stall should be able to see the other player directly above him, floating in midair!

Floating Weapons
Start a multiplayer game in the library using any sort of mine. Place your mines on one of the windows or glass walls and shoot the glass. The window will shatter, but the mine will remain in the air, making it harder to see.

Want something fancier? Go to multiplayer and choose remote mines and the bunker stage. When you start, go to the main control room (the room with the huge computer screen) and collect some mines (there are some up the stairs to your right.)

Once that's done, stand under the monitors that are hanging from the ceiling and try to place one mine on each. You don't have to have one on each; just enough to destroy them all. Back off and detonate the mines, go back up to where you found the remote mines before and recollect them. Next, go to the pole-like stucture next to the stairs and try to attach a mine to it. Nothing will happen, but when you back up the mine will be hanging in midair, as will all subsequent mines until you end the game. Have a blast!

Note: This trick also works with throwing knives, grenades, tank shells and the other mines.

Flying Bond
Enable the TINY BOND code, then go to the bunker. When you are about to exit, crawl (or kneel), then walk back down the stairs. You won't go down the stairs -- instead you'll be floating in midair!

To do this in the Facility, go to the large room where the small gas tanks are. At the entrance there should two doors. Go throuh them and you should be in the room that was described above. Go to the side of the room to your left where to flights of stairs are facing each other. Go up one of them and turn around so that you are facing the other flight of stairs. Then kneel down and slowly walk foward.

Flying Bond on Cradle
Turn on fast animation and turbo mode, then go to the CRADLE level. When you beat it you will go flying off the helicopter without the copter.

Get Back in the Vent
To get back in the vent in the Facility, stand on the toilet that is under the vent. Then hold Left C until your player ducks, then press and hold R, and left on the control stick. When your player returns to the vent, release C and R and press forward on the control stick.

This can be used in Mission Mode and in multiplayer. If you are using proximity mines in multiplayer, plant some in the vent. If someone starts up there, they won't be able to escape without being killed!

NOTE: This trick must be performed with tall players.

Go to the Caverns in agent and beat it by taking out ALL people. Chase Trevlen into the elevator, but don't go in! At the place where you have a choice of going upstairs or downstairs, go upstairs and walk around. Soon enough three guys will come out. Kill them and one of them should have 2 RCP90's! If he does not, wait awhile and they will appear again. Wait a long time and one will have a SUPER SHOTGUN!!!! Just wait for more people to come out and pump them full of lead!

After you get to the case in the middle of the room the bullet proof glass lowers and you can pick up the Golden Gun and some ammo. If you look down it makes the whole process easier.

Golden Tag
It may sound strange, but I think it's really fun! Start a multiplayer game and set it to No Radar, Slappers Only. Then the person who is it counts to 20 or whatever number you want them to. During this time the other players should hide in another room and face the wall. (So that when the person opens his or her eyes they don't know where the person is.)

The person who is "it" must find another player and slap him or her as in conventional tag. (The people who are hiding cannot move or run away well the the person tags them.)

I hope you have fun trying this out because I sure had fun playing it!

Grenades in the Facility
Ever ran out of mines in facility and had to start over? Well here's a way to get grenades so that won't happen. Do the "mad scientist" trick (see below) and the scientist will pull a destovel on you. Dodge it for a while until the scientist pulls out a grenade. Before he can pull the pin, shoot him. Happy Hunting!

Invisible Mines
In multiplayer mode select remote mines. Throw some on an ammo box then pick up the box. The mines appear to be gone but press your watch and ... BOOM!

For a sneakier kill, choose Proximity mines. Find any ammo box and look down at it when you pick it up. Then lay a mine right where the box used to be. In a short time the box will come back covering the mine until someone picks up the box then BOOM!

To get back into the vent with only one person, in mission or multiplayer, get into the stall. Hold down the R button,C-Right,and left on the analog stick. Then you will start to spin, after spinning you will begin to "Hover" in the air. When you are in the vent, let go of all the buttons and hold back on the analog stick and there you have it.

Mad Scientists
To get a scientist angry in Secret Agent or 007 Mode, shoot him twice but try not to kill him. If you can do this he will pull out a DD4 and some of them even have hand grenades!

Note: This trick is a lot easier if you do this on 007 mode and set the enemy health to 1000.

Multi-Player Tips
You can win in multi-player every time if you learn the player pop-up points. These are the locations that a player will appear after he/she has been killed. Once you learn them you can race to the next pop-up point to see your opponent rise out of the ground.

To learn the pop-up points, enter a multi-player game against yourself. Kill the second player repeatedly and note where he or she reappears. Most stages have six or more pop-up points, so it will take awhile to find them all. See Pop-Up Points - The Facility for an example.

Once you learn the pop-up points you will have to learn what order your opponent will appear in each location. It usually depends on where you are positioned. So learn the pop-up points and have fun killing everyone that you play. Just don't give this secret away!

Pop-Up Points - The Facility
To view all these locations you need to place your player at the bottom of the stairs leading to the bathroom. Make sure you're facing the stairs.

In the air vent
Outside of the bathroom to the right behind the double doors
In the room to the left of the stairs
In the room at the end of the hall to your left
To the right of the stairs beside the box
In the bottling room to the left in the last hallway, you have to pass through three security doors to get to this location.
Hint: The best place to locate yourself in the facility is directly at the bottom of the stairs leading to the bathroom. This will give you enough time to kill your opponent each time he pops up.

Run Faster

Shoot Tank Shells From Your Head
This glitch will only work in the tank levels (Streets or Runway). You also need to switch the infinite ammo code on. Go to the tank and climb on top. Switch your weapon to the one immediately before the tank shells. Then, while switching to the tank shells, jump off the tank. If you did it right, Bond's weapon will still be switched to tank shells.

Simultaneous Shooting
Usually when you have two of the same guns out, they fire alternately. But to shoot them at the same time, just fire a shot out of each gun and then hit reload.  While the guns are out of the screen reloading, hold in fire, and when they come up, they will fire simultaneously for the rest of the clip if you hold in fire.  then release fire so it can reload and then hold down fire again while they are out of the screen and it will continue to do it!

You can now let go of the gas. the tank will continue to movve forward and you can now swing the turret around and blast away!!!

Terrorist
This one isn't a code but it's fun to play. Go to multiplayer mode. Weapon-Remote mines, first to five kills. 1 person is the terroist, the others, bomb squad. After the bomb squad has closed their eyes in the another room, and the terrorist has gone through and placed 10 to 30 remote mines around the stage, He goes to a remote spot gets ready to give the bomb squad 10 to 30 minutes (however long you feel like) to defuse all of the mines.

Bomb Squad Objective: Defuse all mines

Terrorist Objective: Keep an eye on the bomb squad and detonate the bombs when the time comes. If the others players give you a hard time by shooting you, just blow the rest of the mines up with your detonator.

The Cradle Made Easy
The key to beating the cradle the easy way is to snipe Trevelan. To do this, stand at a vantage point where he cannot see/shoot at you. These are the steps needed to be taken when doing this:

Blow the control console
Next, get to the left of the ramp so you can just see Trevelan's head. Aim and shoot him in the head.
Then let him run into the engine room and take position about half-way up the ramp. Aim and shoot him again in the head. He may say "Finish the job..." but if he doesn't go to step 4. If he does got to 5.
He should run up the stairs and up the ramp. Run up the stairs but take a right and stop about half-way to where Trevelan is standing shoot him in the head again and if you did it right he should say "Finish it..."
When you are running to the platform thingy to finish him off kill anyone on the lower level. Slowly walk down the stairs and VERY slowlyturn the corner so he doesn't drop down. Shoot him in the head. Drop down and when you are dropping quickly turn around and release havoc on any lifeform down there. You should kill him and if you're lucky you can watch him fall off the spire.
Congratulations! You've beat it!

Best Freestyle Boarder: This was a tough one, but Ricky Winterborn was voted the best. Even though Akari pulled out the better tricks, Ricky got more air, more points, and better landings. He is best with his default board. Best All-Around: This one is either Akari Hyami, or Kensuke Kimachi. They're both great boarder. Kensuke can pull a little faster, but Akari can pull out the better tricks. It was a tie. Best Learner: If you are just starting to race in the Match Races, it is good to start out with Rob Haywood. He's the second fastest boarder, but he is easier to control on the jumps and in the turns than Dion Blaster. NOTE: IT IS BEST TO USE BOARDERS WITH THEIR DEFUALT BOARDS BECAUSE IT USUALLY TELLS YOU WHAT THE BOARDER IS GOOD AT. (Don't worry about Liukitu's REVERSE sign) Keep driving until you get to the end of a bridge. At the end, jump off the RIGHT side of the bridge and onto the snow. Keep driving, and Likitu will pick you up and place you completely on the bridge. (If you are placed back on the snow, then it didn't work.) If you executed this correctly, you will have advanced the entire lap. Repeat this trick (after crossing the finish line) and you should be able to finish the track in 45 seconds or less! Submitted by [email protected] Shortcuts Bowser's Castle: You can gain a little speed by jumping over the stairs. Koopa Troopa Beach: Many people believe this is only accessible with a mushroom power-up, but this is false. Gamers can make the jump off the ramp without a power-up. Just aim straight into the cave, use jump (the right shoulder button) make sure not to hit the walls, and jump right out from under the waterfall. Just before you get to the first rock arch, instead of going under the arch go to the right of arch. After making the turn, head slightly to the right and the water parts giving you land to ride on cutting off some of the route. Be careful as you finish this part; there are a lot of crabs to slip on. Toad's Turnpike: At the beginning by the first crossover, start a mini turbo slide before you reach the place where the roads cross, then jump the rail to the right. Lakitu will pick you up. Hold A + B one second before he puts you down. When you hit the ground, immediately go right and jump the rail again. This time you will go through the ground. You may land on the road or you may land in the water. Or sometimes you don't make it. If you land in the water you will be put on the road where the short cut comes out. This trick is extremely difficult but you'll skip about half the track if done correctly. Wario Stadium: This is one of the longest tracks in the game, but it has a super shortcut that can cut tons of time off your lap. It's possible to jump over the wall to the left of the Starting Line using any one of the four small jumps there. Although you can make it over the wall without the assistance of any speed boosting item, a Mushroom or Mini-Turbo assist is helpful. Approach the wall at high speed so that you are driving directly at it as you reach the peak of the small hill. Jump just before you hit the wall and you'll sail over. The timing takes some practice but once you master it, it's not too difficult. It is also possible to jump back over the wall on the other side of the Starting Line, but the return jump is much more difficult and takes precise jump timing and aim. Hydro Pond -- After driving through about half the course, your driver will enter the ghost house. Upon entering, take a right, but not as sharp as normal, and you'll pass by a wall on your left. Instead of aiming toward the bats, you'll aim slightly left and pass on the left side of the wooden pole. This might look like suicide, but jump over the edge of the star-shaped pool and you'll pass up that first-place player. Rainbow Road -- At the beginning of the race press the gas just before the third light beeps to get a turbo then just as you crest the steep part of the first hill turn to the left and hit jump you fly off the road and if you get the angle right you will land about 1/3 of the around the track! THis can also be done with mushrooms on the following laps. A lap time 1'27"00 is easily possible! Yoshi's Valley -- This course is a tangle, as shown in the introductory map, but here are a few short cuts that will enable you to beat just about anybody. Follow the course until you hit the mazey part. Immediately go left and stay left. The first part of the short-cut is to stay left and on the narrow part of the course. After managing to do that, you'll hit a little checkered ledge, and you'll see a big red and white sign on the left pointing right. This is the hard part. Accelerate as fast as possible and stay to the far right. As soon as the rail on the left side ends pull a hard left powerslide off the road. You'll continue the powerslide onto the upcoming road after you land, and if you do it right, you'll have shaved off at least 10 seconds or lead the pack. Of course, this one takes a lot of practice, but once mastered, it can't be beat. DK Jungle Park -- You can advance the lap counter a lap without going around the track in DK Jungle Parkway. Try to jump into the wall to the left of the exit from the tunnel just before the Starting Line. Your angle of approach is important. If you angle too far to the left, you will fall back into the tunnel. If you angle too far to the right, the trick won't work. You want to fall into the "dark space" behind the wall. Lakitu will pick you up. If he puts you back on the track, inside the tunnel, the trick worked. When you go across the finish line from there, the lap counter will advance one lap. If Lakitu puts you back on the track outside of the tunnel, the trick didn't work. The best way to use this trick is to turn around and go into the tunnel right from the start. If you pull it off, you can get a 20-30 second lap on this course. More tips: Near the beginning of the race is a self-propelling ramp which sends your racer across a giant river. This one is quite simple. Instead of jumping straight off it, aim to the far left and you'll be ahead of the crowd by a few seconds. It works. Second, this course is full of sharp turns. Use the mushroom power-ups as you pass across the jungle terrain and though you'll be hit by coconuts, you'll still end up farther ahead than if you didn't. Third, there is one cave on this course that disrupts many players because of its weird angles and hard-to-follow path. But look at the ground and there is a light-colored path, which makes it far easier to follow. Fourth, upon entering the cave, accelerate to the maximum and aim toward the steep slope. If your racer is going fast enough then pull a hard left powerslide and you'll slide right up the slope, thereby shaving a few seconds. Mario Raceway -- One of the best, and most difficult to accomplish, shortcuts in Mario Kart 64 is jumping over the central wall on Mario Raceway. To take this shortcut, you will need a Mushroom. The point where you will need to jump to get over the wall is just before the fourth turn (the hairpin turn around the giant mushroom). After the third turn, veer slightly to the left, and go slightly up the hill on the left. Turn sharply back towards the wall and hit your Mushroom boost just before you leave the road, jumping at the same time. You'll want to aim just to the right of where the sections of wall intersect. If you make the jump, you will come down near the giant green pipe. If you manage to take this shortcut every lap in Time Trial mode, and do the rest of the course perfectly, you will be able to complete the track in under one minute. This trick is extremely difficult to perform. Royal Raceway -- On Royal Raceway, after the first hairpin turn, go off-road to the left about halfway between the hairpin and the next turn. Aim for the dark spot on the opposite shore and use a Mushroom to boost you over the water as you jump. If you make it to the other side, Lakitu will pick you up and put you back on the course just before the monster jump over the pond! You can save about 15 seconds per lap with this shortcut. To save even more time, use a Super Mushroom just before you hit the second pair of arrows on the super jump across the pond. Once you jump, turn as far left as you can (try to land on the flat part of the mountain.) If you make it, Lukitu will pick you up and put you right in front of the finish line! Kalimari Desert -- In Mario GP, if you have a Super Star, you can take a shortcut through the train tunnel and gain a lap on your first and second lap. To do the shortcut, you will need a Super Star. From the second crossing, turn left and follow the tracks to the entrance to the train tunnel. Activate the Super Star just before you enter the tunnel, and your lap counter will advance by one around the min-point of the tunnel. This shortcut doesn't save as much time as you would think, because following the train tracks will slow you down. Also, because you need a Super Star to pull it off, it isn't a practical shortcut for Time Trials. Choco Mountain -- Right before the big loop there is a road to the left. Do a powerslide and you can jump the wall. If done correctly you can save about 10 seconds. You have to be in 150cc or extra. Otherwise there is a fence there. Submitted by Brodie Christensen, Eric Leb, Glen Wabasca and others Throwing Tricks To throw a banana forwards, hold Z while holding a banana, then press the joystick UP and release Z. To toss a turtle shell behind you, hold Z while holding a banana, then press the joystick DOWN and release Z. Submitted by [email protected] Turbo Boost Press A as the starting light turns green. If your timing is right you'll race ahead of the other players. Using the ¿ Boxes Usefully I use this trick all the time to help my chance of winning in almost every mode of play. When I get a ¿ box, I wait until I see another item box one before planting mine. If I time it just right, the ¿ box I laid down will be right on top of where the original one was so if anyone goes to get it they can't tell it was a fake until they hit it!
