Digivice Review by alienorus Well, since the digivice is out, I've been asked to send in a review, well, actually volunteered. Anyway, this is just MY review. Don't think that just because I have one you have to think your digivice is the same as mine. So, here it goes. Well, I opened my Digivice yesterday, 5-27-00, on the way to North Florida to go to a family reunion. Anyway, I read the manual that came with it, so I wouldn't make a wrong move. So when the sun came up, since we left early in the morning, I had no choice but to pull the strip out of it and fumble my way around. The music came on, which is sorta annoying, it's way too loud. But the introduction came on. I pushed a button. Agumon appeared. I wanted a Gatomon, but, I guess I didn't really read the manual well. I pushed the big button on one side of the screen. More music came on. Then Agumon jumped up and down with a light thing beside him. Then he just sat there. I took the manual out again and saw that you could walk your digimon by shaking it. The other way was to clip it to your belt and walk, it'll walk with you. But, since I was in the car, I had to do it the tiring way. I had to shake it. A little later, I saw the screen lighting up. It would have made noise, but I turned the sound off. Anyway, the screen flashed. Then a Numemon appeared. Some options came on. They were, Fight, Digi-Volve, Party, and Escape. I chose to Fight. So, I pushed the select button and held it down. Then, Agumon fired. It took some power away from the Numemon. Then the options came back on. I pushed another button and the Digi-Volve option came up. I selected that. Some animations came on. I shook it. The digi volving stage came on. Agumon digi volved to Greymon. The flashing push sign came on. I pushed the button it was pointing to. Then, Greymon fired a double attack and Numemon' health meter was completly filled. I had won! Greymon turned back into Agumon. I decided I oughta let it a rest a while. Later, a few of my reletives, my cousin and I, and my dorky older brother took a walk to the river. My Agumon was awake and walking along side me. Then, since I turned the sound on, it beeped. I was attacked by a what looked like a Kuwagamon. I was beaten. So, I reset it and I learned how to scroll through all 8 digimon. I chose Gatomon. She's pretty good. I walked along and then, all of a sudden, I was being attacked. It was another Kuwagamon. I had forty something Digimon Power. That's what you use to make your digimon digivolve. She digivolved to Angewomon. She beat Kuwagamon and turned back into Gatomon. I put it down for awhile after we got back. On the way home, I got to the boss digimon. Digivice must have it's own adventure programmed with it- cool! I was attacked by Devimon. He threw an attack at me. Then, I digivolved and shot him. Angewomon took away 2 health. Then I digivolve into what looks like a SaberLeomon, but it's not, it's MagnaDramon. I guess it's her mega level. I've heard that there's no mega level. All the other digimon only turn into ultimate. I guess Gatomon is champion, then ultimate, then mega. I beat Devimon. I got moved to the next island. I walked alot, until I got to the boss in that. He pounded me! It was an Etemon. I had to walk another couple hundred miles to get to him again. That time, I won! I had a higher health meter than him, after all, I did digivolve all the way to MagnaDramon. I lost all my power, but just when I thought I was beaten, I beat him, he only had one health left, and I had 2. I won. I moved to the next island. I then ran into a Demidevimon. Some how he beat me! On my second turn, I chose escape. I was alright. Then later I ran into a Gazimon. He would've pounded me, but I escaped him too. It seems as if the digimon in each level are stronger. So, I run into a Bakemon. I beat him. Then, I ran into another demidevimon, and he killed me. I reset it and now I have a Gabumon. Right now he's sleeping. Well, I do have a few tips for it: (1) Don't digivolve
your digimon to the next level unless your in need of it. |
