The first Digimon movie consists of 3 separate stories.

Digimon Adventure

The first movie centers around the happenings at Highton View Terrace before the children's first trip to the Digiworld. In episode 29 of the TV series, the children remember that it was then that they first saw the Digimon. The movie serves as an extended flashback told from Tai's point of view.

One night he wakes up to go to the bathroom and finds Kari staring at a glowing Digi-egg on the computer screen. Before their eyes, the egg begins to emerge from the screen. The next morning the egg hatches and out pops a strange black little animal. It's a Digi-baby - Botamon to be precise, but of course the children don't know that. He soon Digivolves again into Koromon and then later that night into Agumon. But this isn't the same Agumon we have all come to love from the TV series; this is a much bigger, meaner Agumon. With Kari on his back, Agumon jumps out the window. Not bothering to change his pajamas, Tai rushes out the front door in hot pursuit.

Suddenly, the sky opens up and another Digimon appears. It's a huge, green bird-type Digimon, Parrotmon. He and Agumon battle and eventually Agumon digivolves once more, this time becoming an even larger dinosaur, Greymon. Greymon manages to destroy the giant bird, but to Kari's dismay the dinosaur disappears, too, and the movie ends with Kari calling after her lost friend, "Koromon! Koromon!"

Digimon Movie #2: Our War Game

        

        

    

This movie takes place after the digimon episodes have finshed. The digi-destines defeated all the evil digimon from both worlds, or so they thought they did. Now all the digi-destines are now grown up (about four years older). Then one day they found out the evil Digimon weren't completly destroyed. So now the digi-destines have to go back and battle the last evil Digimon.

This summer, Japan is releasing a new movie, the third of its kind. Saban hopes to have it translated and dubbed in time to show this summer with the other two digimon movies being released in the US.

This new movie stars both the new children and the old children, although the focus is definitely still on Davis, Yolei, Cody, T.K., and Kari. In addition to this group, there is also one new Digidestined who appears *only* in the movie. His name Is Wallace, and he is an American boy who is eleven years old. He came to Japan on vacation, and although he's American, he speaks Japanese fluently. He apparently had a Japanese girlfriend once, and studied her language very hard so that he could communicate with her. Wallace doesn't get along with Davis very well, and there is tons of fighting between the two.

In addition to the new digidestined child from America, two of the new season 02 Digimon get brand new armor evolutions and two of the old childrens Digimon go to their mega forms! The digimon that get new Armor evolutions can now evolve three different ways, instead of just two.
