Another thing to ask yourself before building a web page is why
would I build one. Some reasons for build a web page will be listed
on my
why to build a webpage site that will also be up soon.
To start building a web page using HTML or Java coding first you
need to decide what web page maker you want. There are quite a few
you can choose from. Some of them are Geocities,
Angelfire,
Fortune City,
Xoom, Yahoo,
and Tripod.
I chose to use fortune City because I am more familiar with the set
up and it give more space. There are also a lot of webpages that
can help you learn how to build your own webpage.
All pages made with HTML coding need to start with the code HTML.
That code helps the computer understand what you are doing. All of
your codes need to be surrounded with <>. Then you just simply type
in what code you want. To end a code you need to go like this, >.
If you want to view the code of a page and you are using Netscape
Navagator or Microsoft Internet Explorer all you need to do is go up
to view on the tool bar, left click so it opens, the go down to
source and left click. This should open up a page that shows all
the code the page is based around. You can also open this by right clicking on the page and then choosing view source.
Remember, I am still learning too. If you have any questions that
you think I might be able to help you with don't hessatate to
