The Helepolis has a better range and a much faster fire rate than the Ballista. Craftsmanship must be researched before you can upgrade to the Helepolis. Other Siege Weapons include the Stone Thrower, Catapult, and Heavy Catapult.
Researching Alchemy increases attack strength. Ballistics increases accuracy. Engineering increases range.
