Strategy Notes: The switch to a laser weapon means that the cruiser now is now a very effective anti-ship unit while losing it's prior bombardment capability. Destroyers and battleships now share the ballistic duties, while destroyers are ideal for antiship and antisub missions.

Strategy Notes: The Shockwave Torpedo is useful for revealing Fibbers. The weapon must be stockpiled (like nukes) but is reletively inexpensive. When you suspect a Fibber is in an area select the Attack command, and click on the desired location on the map. If a Fibber is in the area, the Shockwave Torpedo will temporarily disable the Fibber's sonar jamming field allowing other units to attack it.
