 As with most games quake has many cheats
that allow you to do many things below is
a list of all the ones that i know of, you if
have any others please mail me with them
and i will include them.

By the way if you use any of these cheats before you have finished the game you are a LOSER in the greatest sense, thousands of people have finished the game without them (like me) so you can to.

Enter these codes in the Console - to access this press tilde (`) or press ESC and follow OPTIONS to the CONSOLE option

CHEAT DESCRIPTION
NOTARGET Beasties will not shoot at you or attack you unless you bug them i.e. shoot
GOD God Mode - Nothing can kill you
NOCLIP Pass through walls and doors - Go anywhere you want (including out of the map)     
Use swim buttons to navigate
IMPULSE 9 All weapons and ammo
IMPULSE 255 Quad damage
CROSSHAIR 1 Enables the crosshair
FLY Allows you to fly around levels (use swim buttons to navigate)
MAP E?M? Warp to that level (replace the ? with a number between 1    & 8     
CLICK HERE for a full list of levels and there codes
IMPULSE 11 Gives you a rune
R_FULLBRIGHT 1 Takes away all the shadows in the game
R_DRAWVIEWMODEL 0 Makes you invisible
GIVE R # Gives you # rockets
GIVE S # Gives you # shells
GIVE C # Gives you # cells
GIVE N # Gives you # nails
GIVE H # Gives you # health
GIVE # Gives you # weapon
