The Execution
Seven days later, Tifa awakens and finds herself locked in a Shinra lab with Barret. She also learns that the crater is now encased in a protective barrier and the WEAPONS are wreacking havoc everywhere. Sephiroth managed to Summon Meteor and it now hangs in space like a huge time bomb waiting to destroy everything.
To make matters worse, Rufus has decided to publicly execute Barret and Tifa. The world needs a scapegoat and who better to take the fall than AVALANCHE?
Barret and Tifa are led to a gas chamber so their deaths can be broadcast to the entire world. Tifa is set to go first, so she's strapped into a gas chamber and left to die, but the guard drops his key next to Tifa's chair.
Before the switch can be pulled, Klaxons begin to blare as WEAPON approaches Junon. During the confustion, Cait Sith reveals himself and frees Barret. The two must now stop the gas chamber, but the door won't open.
Talk to Cait Sith and then look for the gas chamber's control room. Scarlet locks the press room, so Cait Sith suggests you run to the airport, which is to the right. They bump into Yuffie next, who's disguised as a reporter. Now you'll have a full party for the trip to the Airport.
Note:
If you haven't use Cait SIth or Yuffie much up to this point, equip them before going too far.
With the confusion created by WEAPON's attack, Tifa gets a chance to save her own lofe. You must maneuver her head, arms, and legs to reach the key and unlock her restraints. Use Tifa's legs twice to pull the key over to her, and then press the A button (Triangle) to make her sit up in the chair. Now use her legs and head simulateously to get the key into her mouth. Unlock her left arm by pressing the O and A buttons together, and then use her left arm a second time to grab the key and unlock her right restraint. Now flip the switch to the left of the chair and shut off the gas. Tifa can't open the door to the chamber from the inside, but she's about to get a little help.
After WEAPON cuts a hole in the chamber wall, climb through the hole and scale down the front of the building. Run down the gun to the end of the barrel, where you'll meet up with Scarlet and engage in a slapping match, wich Tifa wins easily. Sprint toward the end of the cannon as soon as you hear Barret's call.
Looks like the team has a new vehicle... the Highwind.

Note:
The Highwind can fly anywhere, but can only land on smooth, grassy terrain. In some cases, you may have to land far from your target and hike the rest of the way.
The team's next mission is to figure out what happened to Cloud. Talk to everyone onboard the ship and then make your way down to the Operations Room so you can create your new party. Now you can fly the airship to the northern continent.
Note:
The Highwind has everything the team needs -- with the exception of shops. If you need to save or rest, go to the Highwinds Operations Room and speak with the man there.
