Mechwarrior's Log: | |
May 27, 1998- I am going downstate tomorow morning, and will be gone until June 8. Progress on the new page is proceeding smoothly, and if you want to check it out so far, head over to Legend Slayers Domain. Chris has his page up finally, he calls it Starbase 74656. It's not as cool as this site, but hey, he's only a Star Trek fan. Also, just to hold you in suspense, check out another page that me and my cousin Brent Barkel are making, its called The Yoopers Edge.
May 25, 1998- Not much for today, but here is a little tid bit to hold you over. I beat the Mechcommander Demo mission 2 today with one Mech. I used a Commando A (that means the lightest mech in the game with no jump jets and very little weaponry...in other words, suicide, if your not a strategic genious). Click Here to see the victory screenshot. It's ugly, but its all i got. If you haven't played the Mechcommander demo, or have never even heard of mechcommander, get some info here and download it here. Mechcommander and Links sections updated.
May 23, 1998- I'm going to make some major changes soon. I am moving the page to Xoom, until I get my domain name, and renaming the whole page to "Legend Slayers Domain" or something like that. I'm not going to make a new mech bay till i get settled in. Suggestions for a name would be appriciated, send them here. Also, rumors are that there are new maps at the Mechcommander website. I have not been able to confirm this because it was down this morning (probably for updating).
May 20, 1998- School is almost out for me (Yeah!) and I am gonna have alot of time to work on the page this summer. The counter is now working. If you visit this site at all, please vote in the poll, I am going to keep it up till i get some more votes. Mechcommander section updated.
May 12, 1998- In response to some letters I've recieved, I've decided to do a new Mech Bay section. Please vote in the poll above so I have some idea of what you would like. If the mech you want is not listed, E-Mail me your choice or just pick the next best one. After a week or so, I will start building a Mech Bay for the most popular mech. Also, the counter is not working for some reason, and it may be a while before I get it worked out. I may have to get a whole new counter service. Forgive me for the inconvienance. Wow, yet more news. The Mechcommander demo was released today at 6:30. Check out the Mechcommander section for more details.
May 8, 1998- I have just started doing some Java programing, and I have reprogramed the Sections html code so that when you put your mouse cursor over a selection it becomes highlighted! Cool huh? Also, Chris and I have pretty much parted ways with this page. He is now designing his own Star Trek page. It's not up yet, but I will notify you when it is. So now I am all on my own (he never did much anyway, he hates BattleTech).
May 7, 1998- I Fixed a couple bugs through out the page today. Also, I now have a much shorter address. Instead of using the insanely long Fortunecities address, you can now reach my page from http://fly.to/mechtech too! Spread the word about the new address, because if I ever move the page, it will automatically take you to the new location! That's about it for today.
May 6, 1998- Lucky thing I still have a few new suprises up my sleeve! I have a new page in the Mechcommander section that shows all the cool mechs. I also have another graphics page in the works, this one about areospace fighters. Maybe I'll put it up next week.
I'm Also A Dedicated MECHFORCE Member!
