Square's 3rd showcase in America of the Final Fantasy series, yet 6th to the jaded Japanese, is definitely a classic. Many colorful characters, an awesome soundtrack, and a unique and fun battle system all come together to truly make this a gaming experience. The storyline is not really that complicated or thrilling; rather, it is the characters this time, and their personalities, that draws the player into this game. In that sense, it sort of is a new-line RPG from Square, a trend that will later culminate in the awesome Final Fantasy VII.
