Black orks are the pinnacle of the orcish race. They are larger and more organized than their cousins, and tend to look down on them (though they will follow a strong leader). Black orks live a very military life and each looks forward to dieing in battle, surrounded by foes slain by his hand.

Combat
Black orks are capable of being fighters of up to 15th level. Black orks arm themselves with the best weapons they can get their hands on. They also wear the best armor. The tougher the Black ork, he better the weapons and armor. All black orks possess at least a 19 strength. Each group adds 1 to this for a maximum of 21. As the black ork gets tougher it increases in size, the largest having reached a massive 10 feet in height.
Black orks are completely immune to fear. They are incapable of experiencing it. Therefore, black orks always fight to the death unless their warlord / chieften commands otherwise.
Black orks despise magic. They see magicians as weaklings and revel in killing them to prove that they are right. All black orks have 25% magic resistance, Biguns and bosses possess 35%. Warlords, chieftens and champions have 50% magic resistance. There are NO black ork shamans. Though they do admit that ork shamans do have their uses.
Due to their hardy natures black orks receive a +2 to all saves.

Habitat / Society
Black orks live a military life based around the destruction of other species. Theirs is a life of constant strife. However, unlike the rest of the goblinoid races, black orks do not kill other orks. They settle all such disputes through a series of non-lethal tests. Head-butting is a prime example.
Black orks are willing to follow any capable orkish leader, regardless of exact sub-species. They see the advancement of the orcish race as a whole rather than personal profit as the purpose of life. As long as they are provided with constant warfare, black orks are loyal followers. Prove yourself weak, inept or cowardly, and face their wrath. Being the chosen of Gruumsh, this typically means explaining to the diety, in person. If the roc in question is worthy Gruumsh returns him to the tribe. If not, it's best not to ask.
Black orks see themselves as the pinnacle of the orcish race. They are more organized and powerful thn any of the "lesser" races. They hate goblins and attack them on sight (excepting the night & forest goblins). They also distrust Lolth and ,therefore, all drow.
Black orks will automatically except any honorable challenges made. If the challenger is an orc, the combat will allways be non-lethal. If the challenger is not, the black orks will (believe it or not) fight honorably. They feel that anything not orcish could never be a threat to them. Outside of single combat, they will use any means possible to win.

Ecology
Black orks live to wage war. They serve endlessly in the wars on Acheron and less frequently on other planes as well. Black orks will strip any area under their control and thus, like all orks, live a somewhat nomadic life.
