What is SELSA?

SELSA stands for the South East London Surf Association. We're not a serious organisation, we're just a bunch of people who live in South East London and North West Kent who go surfing and meet up now and again for a drink or a surf.

As the cost of traveling from London to the coast can be pretty drastic, especially when heading west, we encourage lift sharing! If your based in or around South East london and want to meet up with like minded surfers, come to the next meet or email [email protected].

Anyone is welcome no matter what their ability is, what they surf be it longboard, shortboard or bodyboard. The only requirement we have is that you dont take it all to seriously and like having a laugh!

Our aims

Our first aim is to have a artificial wave pool installed in Danson Park. Well not quite! We realise that we're in an area with no waves, well no beach either so we want to bring together all those people prepared to drive a minimum of an hour to the nearest surfable beach and get a bit of a scene going.

We also want to arrange trips west and abroad to have a decent surf now and again.
