1 package (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows or 4 cups of miniature
marshmallows
6 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal
Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and
stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. (You can tint your pumpkins
orange. Mix red and yellow food coloring and add to marshmallow mixture).
Add Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated. (Loyal
chocolate lovers can substitute Kellogg's Cocoa Krispies cereal).
Measure 1/2 cup warm mixture and shape into pumpkins. Makes 12 pumpkins.
Create eyes, nose and mouth with candy such as M & Ms etc. Use a
piece of licorice for the stem.
Place on waxed paper to dry.
Spaghetti and Eyeballs
Spaghetti Sauce
1 lbs Hamburger
1 egg
Cooked Spaghetti
Bread Crumbs
oregano
green olives stuffed with pimentos
garlic salt
Mix hamburger, egg, bread crumbs, oregano, garlic salt into a meat mixture. Make 1 inch meatballs and push an olive into each one. Place into shallow baking dish and cover with sauce. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Serve over spaghetti.
Chocolate Orange Ooze Cupcakes
8 Ounces Cream cheese softened
1 Egg
1/3 Cup Sugar
Yellow and red food coloring
1 pkg Chocolate cake mix
Prepare cake mix as directed on box for cupcakes, until it comes to baking. To make filling: Combine cream cheese, egg and sugar. Blend in 2 drops yellow food coloring and 1 drop red food coloring, adding more coloring if necessary to reach desired shade. Fill cupcake liners half full with cupcake batter, then place 1 teaspoon filling at center of each. As cupcake bakes, the batter will rise to surround the filling. Bake at 350 for 25 approx. 25 minutes.
Pour cold milk into large bowl; add pudding mixes. Beat with wire wisk 2
minutes. Stir in 3 cups of the whipped topping and 1/2 of the cookies.
For Graveyard: Spoon into 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with
remaining cookies. Refrigerate 1 hour or until ready to serve. Store dessert
in refrigerator. Makes 15 servings. Decorate with Milano cookies placed
perpendicular (like tombstones), candy and remaining whipped topping dropped
by spoonfuls (to make ghosts).
For Boo Cups: Spoon mixture and remaining crushed cookies into 12
to 16 individual cups, and decorate as suggested above.
Hot Spiced Cider
1 qt apple cider
1 lb light brown sugar
3 cinnamon sticks
12 whole cloves
graded orange peel from one orange
Put spices in large non-aluminum kettle with cider and sugar. Take out the spices before serving. Simmer uncovered 15 minutes. Serve hot.
Vampire's Blood Shake
2 cups plain yogurt
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 package frozen strawberries or raspberries, thawed
ice cubes
1 pint strawberry ice cream
1.Mix yogurt, vanilla, and berries in the blender.
2.Pour into tall glasses over ice cubes, or chill.
3.Top with a big spoonful of strawberry ice cream.
