These are just some favorite links. There
are also links that could help in your webpage building and
personal computer time. Please E-mail me if any of these
links are broken. ([email protected])
This is my list of friends and family who are
on the net.
- Glory!
A JAMES HORNER Fan Page. Owned and designed by my
husband, Michael Hollowood.
- Mystic
Studios Visit the home of Mystic Studios. See some
original art designed by my friend and fellow artist
Robert Lopez.
Billy's
Homething This is my friend Billy's
page. He's shanky!
Starnet
Palace This page belongs to Wes. He's my
chatting friend. He's pretty cool, visit his page.
These are the webpages I visit the most.
- Volcanosurfing
Homepage Maybe this seems odd, but I have a love hate
relationship with volcanoes. I love to read and learn
about them, but I would hate to be near one. I visit many
different sites to study them and most of the sites I go
to are linked on this page.
- Pow Wow I go here to
get all my socializing in. It's nice because you can chat
and surf the net, run other programs, or do whatever.
Just download the program (which is free) and add
yourself to the white pages.
- Yahoo! Who hasn't
heard of this search engine?
- The Basking Spot
This is an extensive index to herpetological and
herpetocultural pages on the web, (or at least that's
what they print on their web page.) I go here to find
Iguana sites. (I have a year old Iggy named Puck.)
- Download.com Free
stuff! Free stuff! Free stuff! (Better, free programs.)
From webpage hosts to sound waves, here's a
list of the only places you'll ever need to go to make your own
webpage. A lot of these are the ones I use myself on this page
(Hey, I can't design everything!).
- Geocities Get your
own free web page from Geocities. They offer 2mb of free
space. They are the largest, and busiest, of all the ones
I've visited.
- Cybercity
Another free web hosting site, but I've never used this
one. It looks pretty nice but I've never used it. This
service is out of Japan. They offer 5mb of free space.
- Foutune City is
another web community I patronize. It's not very big yet
but it's growing fast. This one offers 6mb of free space
and they're in the UK.
- Icon Depot You'll
probably need some graphics. Here's a ton of them.
- Butnz!
Like the buttons on my first page? I got the blank ones
here and modified them. They have a large selection and
if you don't have an art program to make your own Butnz
has some already with text on them (What more could you
ask?)
- WEBthumper's
Midi Page How about some music to go with that site?
I get all my midis here. They have a large selection and
you might just be shocked at some of the obscure songs
they have.
- Lpage If you don't
know how to write your own HTML, or your server doesn't
let you use your own cgi-bin, then you'll need to sign up
for a guestbook.
- Web
Tracker Don't forget to put up that counter before
you publish your webpage. Web tracker is the best out
there. It keeps the most accurate count (most counters
skip visitors), it shows the statistics of your visitors,
and best of all, it's free!
Just some other fun stuff to use for your
computer. I've used all of these.
- Pegasus Mailbox
I've tried other mailboxes but this is my favorite. It's
especially good if you have more that one user on your
computer with an email address.
- NetAddress
The best free email Address around. The only one I've
found that you can use with your own mailbox.
- Hot Mail This is a
nice email server that's great if you use someone else's
computer (like at the college) and don't have a mailbox,
because you can check it on the web.
- iName Now that you
have your mailbox and email address personalize your
domain. It's personalized vanity mail. (I'm [email protected].)
You won't be able to use this you're using Hot mail.
- Star Mail Same as
iName but with different domain names.
- Windows
True Type Fonts Personalize your documents by
downloading some of these fonts. I must be near a hundred
by now.
This are all sites that have information about
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. (Which I am a
member of.)
- The Church of
Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints Homepage If you're
looking at this category and saying to yourself,
"What's a Mormon?" You need to visit this page.
You can even get a free book (bribery always works!) For
those of you who know about the religion, you can go here
to find out more. If you're a member you can look up
General Conference, learn to do your genealogy, and read
Joseph Smith's testimony.
- Deseret News Online
newspaper in Utah. If you missed General Conference it's
posted here. For future reference, Conferences are
usually posted about a half an hour after airing.
- Heritage
Gateways This site tracks the wagon train
re-enactment. It also offers pioneer stories.
- LDS-Gems
A ton of church stories are found on this page. They also
offer a daily newsletter including what happened 150
years ago today, teachings of the prophets, church news,
and a church history story. They do send out about four
to seven emails a day so if you don't like alot of email
to read I wouldn't recommend signing up.
