The David Bowie
Handwriting Analysis Page
The other day I saw a spot on the news about handwriting analysis, which a few companies use these days to weed through job applicants. The idea is that your handwriting reflects certain personality traits: your work ethic, self-esteem, and how you interact with others. I searched the web and came up with a few websites that offered free handwriting analysis, and this one appeared to be the most accurate and comprehensive.
The sample I used for this was the backside of the Pinups LP, so while it might not be an accurate representation of his personality *today* (assuming it's changed), I think it's a pretty interesting insight into the mind of Bowie circa 1973.
(I don't think English is Sik Ling Ling's first language, and his translations are a little shaky to say the least... I tried to clean them up, and I think the idea is pretty clear if not the wording.)
Bowie's handwriting has no slant, and he appears to bear down moderately.
What this means:

What this means:

What this means:
Bowie's handwriting has no slant, some 'd's and 't's are not looped but some are, and the lower parts of his y's, g's, and j's are written with large loops.
What this means:
Bowie's 'o's and 'a's are closed at the top, his handwriting is not narrow, and his 'a's and 'o's either have no loop or a loop on the left side.
