| Here's something that is fun
and makes great little gifts!� These small stones are about 2" across. �
They make great little "thinking" stones and add a very distictive touch to
small indoor fountain or as a decorative touch to a potted plant. These are just beach stones picked up on vacation and kept for a quiet rainy Saturday when there was not much else going on.� Make up your own words, phrases, or even propose marriage carved in stone to last a loving life time! |

| If you want to get a little
fancier, you can do some carving on stone slices.� This is a piece of Oregon Jade and
cut by a friend to about 3/16" thickness.� The pattern was hand cut and blasted
about 1/32" of an inch deep.� Jade is a little on the hard side and blasting
goes slowly.� Not necessarily noticeable in this photo is the beautiful dark green of
the jade. You can also blast on sliced and polished stones found in many rock shops -- they come in many interesting colors and shapes. |
