Just to clear it up now,
any art, vsp's, chr's, cr2's, etc. are totally and completely
for your bootleggin purposes. A credit line in your game would be
greatly appreciated,
but is not mandatory.
I feel that a portion of
the VERGE community pushes VERGE towards a glory-fest
Yet, VERGE should not be a conglomerate of wanna-be game
designers with their holier-than-thou
copyrights. Vecna has set an outstanding example for all of us.
He could have easily set VERGE
for profits only, and I'm sure many of us would pay up, but he
didn't. VERGE should be kept as freeware- the games, the artwork,
the mentality.
Besides, most VERGE'ers are
respectful enough to give you credit when they borrow artwork.
Ultimately
anyone who wants to become a hardcore game designer/artist would
probably get more recognition if he/she
distributed art "free"ly.
...I'll get down off my
soapbox now.

These are just some Cr2
files that I whipped up so I could have something on this page.
I'll have more up soon with better quality.
You can use them as templates, just change the colors, or bootleg
'em straight.
Make sure you don't copy the image though. You have to download
the zip file to get
the one in pcx format. Converting them will screw up the colors
(if you know a trick, then email me)
