Chapter Ten of the Choirgirl HOTeL…

Our heroes sat huddled together fearing the sharks that now surrounded the makeshift raft. Katiribelle had tried to rescue Pete, but now it appeared that she was eaten by the sharks because of Pete's haste to escape. Suddenly the sharks swam away for no apparent reason (and because I said so)! Everyone aboard sighed in relief.

Kyribelle cried despairedly over the supposed loss of her sister. Pete tried to comfort her by apologizing, but instead ignited a deep rage within the Junior Olympic Synchronized Swimmer.

She wrapped her hands around his neck and strangled him until the last breath had left his body and his face was purplish-blue. She non-chalantly kicked his body off the raft and laughed. "That guy always did give me the creeps." Everyone else on the raft laughed uneasily at Kyribelle's jest.

The next day dawned and Danna, being the only one awake, spotted land. Everyone aboard begins paddling frantically toward the green rise on the horizon. After a few hours of panting, moaning, and grunting (not sex you perverts, paddling) our heroes landed on the shore of a small tropical island much like the first one they landed on.

The group split: Jenn and Jaime to find kindling, Greg and Karol to find food, Danna and Kyribelle to find shelter, and Adrienne and Mulder set out to make a help sign on the beach in case a plane should fly by.

By nightfall Jenn and Jamie returned with enough wood to start a bonfire. Karol and Greg returned with berries they foraged, and some small animals that they hunted down. Adrienne and Mulder succeeded in making a large help sign out of dark pebbles that they gathered on the beach. Danna and Kyribelle were nowhere to be found.

Danna and Kyribelle wandered far into the woods to find a suitable lodging when they ran into two young children.

One of them looked up and stuck her tongue out at them; she was fat, had a bad haircut and was wearing big black high-heeled sandals with her jeans. The other child had frizzy blond hair, a weird chin and big black circles under her eyes.

"I'm Caroline." Said the latter girl in a high pitched whine. "I'm Lehcar." Said the other girl haughtily.

Danna looked over to Kyribelle for words.

Kyribelle said, "Do you girls live here?"

"Of course we live here. Our house is just on the other side of those trees. Haven't you ever heard of the city of Plattstown?" Said Lehcar.

She looked about ten to Danna, just about the ripe age to break into stroking the Gentle Sac. The other girl looked about eight. Better wait a year or two with that one thought Danna.

Caroline, desperate for attention, offered to take the two bewildered adults’ home to her mommy so they could stay the night. Danna and Kyribelle, weary from a day of hard work accepted reluctantly, and walked home with the single white female. Lehcar had a hissy fit and got all mad when they went home with Caroline and not her.

"We'll have to get the rest of the gang tomorrow." Said Danna.

Back to the other side of the island....

The gang decides that Danna and Kyribelle are having an affair, and don't bother to search for them assuming that they are adults and can find their own way. They all sit around the bonfire singing songs and telling stories late a wild baby pig.

They sit around the bonfire and joyously sing songs, and tell stories late into the night. Adrienne gets a little closer to her main desire, Mulder. Jenn and Jaime become best friends. Greg and Karol find their own little spot off in the woods…

FOOTNOTE…

Will our heroes remain in jovial ignorance of the populated side of the island? Will Danna beat the crap out of Lehcar for being annoying? Is Katiribelle actually dead? Aren't you glad Pete is? Do you like cheese?

Hey gang, it's me again. Do remember the part where Kyribelle kicks Pete's purplish-blue body off the raft? I just want to clarify that Pete is DEAD! Kyribelle kicked a corpse off the raft. In the original version that I wrote out on paper it said that Kyribelle strangled Pete until he was dead. Since I got a little more creative when I typed it out, this part was omitted by mistake.
