Chapter Eight of the Choirgirl HOTeL…
Written by Jamie Barshoe
"Help Me... somebody help me" screamed Adrienne as the plane headed down towards the blue and inviting Atlantic Ocean. For Adrienne was the one person on the plane who had an extreme fear of flying.
CRASH... the federally funded plane smashed into the deep blue ocean. There was a deafening silence inside what was left of the plane. Slowly, the passengers began to come to.
"Oh my God..where the F*** are we" moaned a groggy Fox Mulder. Kyriel and Katiribelle were floating on their red plush seats about a mile from where the plane had gone down.
Jenn and Gregg and Karol were all safe and unharmed sitting on a piece of the broken off plane. Jamie had been knocked unconscious and was being held up in the water by the bellboy Pete.
Danna, still handcuffed to Fox was sunbathing in the water, always wanting to look his best. As the group started to look around for each other, they realized that a raft would have to be made.
All of the passengers of the plane swam together and began to piece together pieces of the plane and seats using ropes from the crappy federal seats that were inside the plane.
"I am in charge here, everyone must obey me", yelled Adrienne, who was going a little crazy, for she needed a hit badly.
"Go A, go A, go go go A" Karol and Gregg would yell at intermittent times. They were quite hot for each other, since their secret engagement was out in the open and they were both so glad to be alive.
Eventually the raft was finished. Fox and Adrienne had control of the steering, Kyriel and Katiribelle were in the back of the raft searching for land, Gregg and Karol and Danna sat around the edges of the raft with their feet dangling ever so slightly into the cool salt water. Jenn sat holding Jaime's feet and Pete kept Jaime's head cushioned in his lap.
It was strange, but he felt a kinship with her, and was worried that she had not yet awoken from a bad bump she had on her head. "Row, Row, Row" Adrienne said in synchronization. "Your boat gently down the stream… Merrily Merrily Merrily..." Danna sang gleefully. All the fellow members of the raft shot him a death look, they were not in the mood for his kiddy show antics.

Hours had passed and it seemed that the group would perish. The temperature had reached an amazing 95 that day and there was no fresh water in sight. Jamie had since awoken from her concussion but was suffering from a slight case of Amnesia.
She believed that she was on a mission from the US government to find the lost "Heart of the Ocean" necklace from the titanic movie. "Land Ho... Land Ho... Land Ho." Yipped Gregg full of jubilation.
Far off in the distance was a small island and the two rowers in the front paddled faster and faster until it was a large land mass in front of their eyes. All the passengers jumped off the raft and swam towards the shore.
"I can't believe it, we found land, I am so juiced," said Fox. He picked up Adrienne and carried her in his arms to the safety of the sand at the end of the beach. He was lonely and he had desperately wanted her from the first moment he met her.
"Oh Fox, your sooo brave and wonderful," cooed Adrienne.
"Gregg," sighed Karol, " I am so glad that we survived that crash together. I just can't stop thinking of that poor stewardess whose silicon boobs weighed her down to the bottom of the ocean. I feel so bad for her."
"Don't worry, honey, she was dead the moment we hit the water. She was run over by her drink cart and died instantly." Gregg said as hugged Karol to make her feel better.

The group of passengers went exploring on the island and soon came upon a humongeous waterfall. There it was, what they had been looking for. A fresh water supply. The group plunged into the water, drinking and washing themselves in the coolness of the water. Kyriel and Katiri took this opportunity to practice their synchronized swimming, they didn't want to lose any form.
However great this island may have seemed to them, it was a dead end. There was nothing in sight and the group decided that the best thing to do would be to return to the ocean and take their chances on getting to some real land.
They made makeshift water jugs and gathered up some fruit and nuts that they found on the island. Danna's jumpsuit was made into a cover for the raft and they took Jenn's bright red lipstick and painted a big HELP sign on the top of it. The group got back onto the raft and began their journey into the unknown.

It was the first night of the new journey, and the wind had picked up and there was quite a chill in the air. "Why is it that it gets so cold at night, I don't understand it when it was so hot this afternoon?" Asked Mulder stupidly.
"Well, that TENDS TO HAPPEN WHEN THE SUN GOES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE EARTH." Yelled Danna. He had had about all he could take of this Fox guy. I mean UFO Shumufo already, that was so last season. Danna was huddled between Fox and Adrienne, trying to keep warm, since his pantsuit was the cover over the raft.
Katiri and Kyriel dangled their legs off the back of the raft and worked as propellers, which kept them warm. Karol and Gregg huddled in the corner like little bunnies hiding from a thunder storm.
Jamie and Jenn sat next to each other, near, but not next to Pete. He gave them the creeps and they wanted to stay as far away from him as possible. The night went on and on and so did the ocean…
Finally, Jamie could take the silence no longer. She had to do something. So she sat up and decided to do something about it. She broke out in Billboard hits of the 80's trying to liven and lighten up the mood.
"Wake me up… before you go go," she yelled in an off key tone. However it worked. Soon everyone was talking and joking and really getting to know each other.
"I thought of a tomato but is it a vegetable..." Joked Gregg "And the third one ducked..." joked Danna "I'm afraid Knot"...joked Jamie.
What was this... were they all getting along, it was too hard to comprehend. The only problem with the situation was Adrienne who desperately needed a hit, but as long as she was with Fox, she could last a little while longer.
As the sun began to rise over the horizon, our gang of passengers were sleeping in the ever pleasant raft...but what would happen in the days to come...had they made the right decision to leave the island? Would they be forced to dump Pete overboard? Were they heading for Canada?
