Valentines Gift

If I were to give you a gift this Valentine;

I would like to give you a luxury that shines;

So you'll always be reminded

Of my love that's pure, priceless & will never end.

But when I saw my wallet, sadness held me;

I can't give you this gift for I have not a penny;

So I decided to write this poem;

And tell these words: its in my heart they are from.

I never knew I'd met someone like you;

It's like winning a once in a lifetime opportunity;

Luckily, I bought my ticket & gamble my money

& got to have the winning combination.

Loving you may mean a lot of sacrifice;

A lot of tears to cry & money to spend;

But I rather sacrifice for I know there will be

Someone who will love , care & share dreams with;

I will gladly shed my tears because this tears are worth crying out;

& this will never fall again if not for you;

I will spend even the last of my peso

'coz I know love is more important than possessions.

In my life I may not have everything,

But having you made me richer than any king;

You'd given me one of the best love

That I never thought I would have.

If there's one decision I won't regret;

It's the day the word "Mahal Kita" was said'

Like a magic, I was amazed;

I never thought this love would be so great!

This Valentine, I'm glad you're in my arms,

Many years from now I hope nothing will change;

There's no one in this world, forever I dreamed of having;

Other than you my love, life & everything.

Years may pass, days may go on;

I swear my love will remain forevermore;

I may not be a perfect partner, nor a good one;

But I know the love I have to you will always cling on.

I know these words aren't enough to thank you;

For Letting me in your life once again;

& for loving me the very first day;

I thank you for being such a wonderful part of what I am.

I may not always show, but always I know

I love you more than the life itself;

This poem must come to an end & I have to say:
