Tigger and Pooh

Tigger and Pooh were adopted from the Humane Society. One Saturday afternoon, I decided that we should go to the shelter to 'just look'. I had been wanting cats ever since we moved out of our no-pets-allowed apartment. I wanted two cats that got along because we both work and we didn't want to leave one cat alone all day.

I was immediately attracted to Tigger and Pooh when we arrived at the shelter. They were about 4 months old when we saw them. I filled out the paperwork, and arranged to pick them up the following Friday. We had cat supplies to buy, and a house to cat-proof!

Our cats were already named "Tigger and Pooh" and we decided to keep the names. Tigger has stripes. (Black on black, really!) The names have turned out to be quite appropriate. Tigger is usually more active than Pooh is. He seems to bounce all around the house. Pooh is slower (more thoughtful?) and tends to watch Tigger get into trouble.
