I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in Forest Economics with the School of Forestry & Wildlife Sciences, Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama. My research concerns the application of economic theory and econometric tools to current issues in forestry, agriculture, and natural resources.

My current research interests are:

  • US-Canada softwood lumber dispute;
  • productivity growth and technical change in forest industries;
  • international trade in forest products;
  • inflows and outflows of foreign direct investment;
  • nonindustrial private forest landowner issues;
  • determinants of timberland use;
  • timberland investments and portfolio analysis;
  • issues of market integration and cointegration;
  • supply/demand modeling and forecasting.
I am seeking a research position in Forest Economics, Agricultural Economics or related field.
