Larry Lee Helm
August 29, 1947 - Memphis, Texas
Middle name is after his father.
Larry grew up in Memphis, but actually "grew up" in Dallas. He received a BA
from Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas, in 1969, and an MBA from North
Texas State University in 1972. Larry met Kathy Jones in high school and they
were married August 17, 1968.
Larry remembers:
* spending the night with Grandmother and Bob (she liked him best!) with
open windows and fans
* Mother penciling in hair on the back of his head after the barber
messed up
* double dating with Bob
* swimming at Daddy's farm with Bob when we were supposed to be hoeing
cotton
