June 11, 1939 - Pryor, Oklahoma
Sally grew up in New Mexico and Nebraska and attended Baylor School of Dental
Hygiene, Sally's memories include:
* going to the grocery store with her dad - he would buy her a package of
peanuts to put in the top of her strawberry pop - the same store he
bought her first bubble gum after the war
* Grandmother giggling
* Grandmother and her snuff
* Grandmother and her Mogan David in the closet
* lots of beautiful evenings sitting outside
* lots of memories have a fan going in them -- hot summer visits!
* Long drives to Memphis where everyone would be at Evelyn's -- would
sleep in the living room -- Sally would tickle Leslie's back for a
long time then Leslie wouldn't tickle Sally's -- she hasn't liked

* lots of wonderful memories of being at Mary Jane's -- drinking Coke
in the back room
Sally met Stan Davis when she cleaned his teeth. They were married in Omaha
October 12, 1963. Stan is an allergist.
Her mother says Sally would always bring at least two dresses home for
approval. She would try on the one she really wanted last and her dad had to
agree with her.
