Untitled
She woke up early one Christmas night
The little girl closed her eyes so tight
A noise she could hear at the foot of her bed
so under the covers she hid her head.
Footsteps she heard across the bedroom floor
Then the creek of the old wooden door
As she lay there her heart did pound
The room was quiet, not a single sound
From under the covers her eyes did peep
Nobody there so out of bed she did leap
And what did she find, something shocking?
no...
Santa had been and filled her Christmas stocking.
