I woke up this morning, hopped in the shower, got ready for work and all without rushing. I have not had a morning like that in a long time. There is usually a lot of commotion going on on weekday mornings. Today was a wonderful day. I kept super busy all day, and everything seemed to just roll along. I like days like that when I can just wake up and it is smooth sailing until I go to bed. It mus be something in the air. Whatever it is, I want more of it. Tomorrow is Friday! Not payday, but it is still Friday and I am more than ready for the weekend. I do not have any plans at the moment except for doing some side work, so other that than ... I am free to do as I please.
I am getting pretty anxious as to hearing the results of my taxes this year. Last year was very nice and I hope this year comes close to last. I have a few things I would like to do for my son. One of which is to take him to a concert in a couple of months. We have not done anything together in a long time and he is long overdue for an evening out with his mom. He is only 12 years old, but enjoys Rod Stewart. Go figure. So, it is a toss up between Rod Stewart and Aerosmith. I thought kids today were into NSYNC or Backstreet Boys. Not my kid. He has his mom's tastes in music. I am sooooo glad too! I don't think I could pay money to listen to the others.
Supper is done and he is waiting on me to watch a movie with him this evening. I wonder which movie he is in the mood for tonight. i'll let you know tomorrow what his choice was.
