The Lightmeter
At first I used the meter on my Pentax K1000 (35mm camera). A little clumsy and probably not quite as accurate but it worked in the beginning. Another photographer suggested that I get a Minolta meter. He was willing to sell me one for $400. I decided however to get a Polaris meter. It was about half the price and I got it new. Is it as good? Who knows? Does it work? Yes it seems to work fine. I've taken plenty of good Polaroids and negs with no problem. However I have seen a new Minolta meter for about $200 that I wish I would have known about sooner. The Polaris works ok but every now and then for some reason when I hit the button to take a reading the thing shuts off on me. I turn it back on and I'm fine but its annoying.
