"Come in. "Please ... sit down ... "Have yourself a cup of coffee ... or tea ... . We're new on the block. Gallery Too. Though, I guess, we've been around before. Too. The Main Exhibit -- my gallery -- "it was set up, originally, by Tina Stamper, as part of her Artists & Writers Collective Work Shop. She did all the initial work; I just took the photographs ... . When the Gallery folded, I asked Tina for her HTML code ... . That forms the core of the exhibit. It has grown some; I've elaborated a bit on her basic rythms. Embellished them a bit. Introduced a counterpunctual strain "Don't mind the cat. That's just Ralph ... . We grew this shop from seed ... and while I was sweeping it out the day before we opened -- I opened a window -- he must have climbed in. He admires himself a great deal ... . No matter.
"I asked my son for a little light music. He's working on it. "I've also looked into getting a couple of the other AWCWS folk on line. Sally Gooslin does some wonderful watercolours. I've contacted her and gotten her permission to 'mirror' some of her pictures here in the Gallery. She has consented to speak to us -- a little -- about her art. And, of course, to afford us an additional picture or two as her time permits ... . There was someone named Dorian Vignale I haven't yet been able to contact... . Tina has the addresses ... . Perhaps some of the writers I've linked to another artist ... but you'll have to wait on this one; he's preparing his pictures, now, for scanning "G2 is also a coffeehouse - of - sorts. I know, it doesn't look like much. One of those virtual 'beat' spots. ... BYOC ... uh - as it were. Bring your own coffee. I do make a mean cup o' joe, though, if you're in the neighborhood, drop by --> all that <-- "rot ... . "I've arranged for a local poet to 'show' some of her work here. Frances Ballado. Social Awareness .. obligations --> all that <-- "stuff "There are a lot of kids out on the streets. They don't have anyplace to go -- we can't take them in here -- not all of them ... . A meal, at least, we can offer to some. Some coffee, or tea ... we let one of the storage rooms to a writer. He keeps Ralph company. He puts out a little pub he calls ShadowSpeak -- social awareness, obligations --> all that <-- "It's a fledgeling. But it's certainly worth the read. It's linked to Aunt Martha's Youth Services. He is also. We'd like to be ... . "Feel free to stay as long as you like. Have some more coffee. Or tea. Just give me a nod when you leave so I can lock up.
